See if you can get others to suggest a niche circle that is similar to your site, then add all those people from the circle. This will let you have access to people who are already interested in what you are offering.
Some people say Google Plus social networking site is a fail, but how so? It doesn't compare in every way to Facebook but doesn't it have it's own advantages that Facebook doesn't compete with?
