    1st Tier Links What sites to use?

    When building a link structure where you have 1st tier links leading to your money site, and then 2nd tier links leading to your 1st tier links, etc., are there certain sites that are better for those 1st tier links.

    For example, should you try to use high PR sites like Ezinearticles or Squidoo, etc? Or should you use open blog sites (wordpress, blogger, lesser known sites)?

    Obviously if someone is able to axe those pages, then it's bad news. So is there a general consensus about what's best to use for those 1st Tier links?

    For 1st tier links I would use Wordpress, Blogspot, Ezines and guest posts. A mixture of all helps diversity. Having full control of tier 1's will benefit you, as you can decide which keyword you want to use.
