Why is SeoClerks charging sellers for orders before they are completed?

I find it very unfair for sellers that SEOclerks would mandate sellers to pay 10% of an order whether or not the order is completed by the buyer. This basically has expanded the gap for sellers to be defrauded. This adjustment offers no leverage or security to sellers, especially those who are using PayPal as their payment method.

I completely disagree with you as you said unfair. Seoclerks charge 10% on overall sale for $20 after $200 fulfill. Even they charged 20% once order begin before this recent change. Now it is become 10%. Just different is this charge is not refundable. Even you order complete or cancel.
And if you have better offer or suggestion, let me know here. I will discuss with admin.

How is a non-refundable charge for an order that is not completed fair to sellers? Sellers would be losing twice as much. So you're telling you would be okay if you completed an order and then the buyer mischievously cancels after receiving your item, in addition to SEOclerks charging your card for something you didn't even get paid for? You must be an administrator if you can't see how this adjust is not seller friendly.

The least they could do is wait until the order is completed by buyer or after 30 days as they require sellers to wait for payoneer withdrawals.

This the the way of best solution until stable in new change. Yes 10% non refundable. Because they pay you 90% instant to your paypal. Now you do not need to wait 5 days for get paid. So how you adjust if you do not paid them marketplace fee? Yes time may matter and logic acceptable. We should discuss with admin. I suggest to you open a ticket and ask to support as well.

Now imagine a Seller spends days working on a project and delivers the work, then the buyer mischievously cancels the order on PayPal and the Seller receives no payment. If the order was $500, SEOclerks would charge the Seller's credit card $50.30 and once the buyer cancels the order the Seller would lose $550.30, in addition to the time spent to complete the buyer's project. In the end, the buyer would be happy because he got the project for free and SeoClerks would also be happy because they also got free/non-refundable money, leaving the Seller in debt and distress.

I can see what you are saying here and it is something that I have been worrying about too as a seller. I do hope that seoclerks support will be able to offer a proper refund in such a case and that if there are disputes between buyers and sellers they will step in to make sure that no seller ends up being made advantage of by a buyer. I have to say that before over 7 years of working here I had such a situation a couple of times and seoclerks support staff helped me out. I hope that with this new system they will be able and wiling to safeguard us sellers in such eventualities.

Unfortunately, SeoClerks said they will no longer be responsible for mediating disputes better Sellers and Buyers on some platforms such as PayPal. This is why I said SeoClerks no longer offers any leverage or security to Sellers.

This is the best solution for SEOclerks not the Sellers. Sellers including myself had and still have no problem paying the marketplace fee. The issue which I'm sure you understand is SeoClerks taking money from what Sellers didn't receive. Your reasoning makes no sense and I don't expect you to say otherwise because you're a Seller who is also an Administrator, therefore this will not affect you.
Again, I ask what is the leverage or security that SeoClerks offers Sellers by doing this?

I've already submitted a ticket and received no response as expected, because there's no logically justification for this non-refundable charge.

I also guess it UNFAIR, such charges are not OK. Sellers are charged fees even long long before we can get paid out. Even on cancelled orders or rejected deliveries!!! This is not good... I am bit lucky because i can use PayPal payments, but for all "pay by balance" payments i would be in LOSS until i get my money out. People who can't use PayPal at all are in even bigger problems.
I was supporting all Seoclerks changes all the time since 2012 and i know there is sometime tugh situations, but this last change and decision is BAD Why is SeoClerks charging sellers for orders before they are completed?

It's a very bad adjustment. Even for Sellers whose method of payment is PayPal, they will have to submit a credit card in order to continue selling on SeoClerks. This is because these Sellers would no longer have a "SeoClerks payment balance". So SeoClerks implemented the credit card requirement so that they can deduct their 10% from seller's credit card whether or the order was successful for the seller.

@ajlancer at the moment i have order of $35 paid to my PPal. It looks most likely that i will must cancel this order, because it's complicated. So if i cancel, i will go to PPal and refund my buyer, but i still will be owing $3,50 to Seoclerks. Is that OK??? Fair??

Only charge the 10% fee 14-21 days AFTER delivery. This will avoid most fraudulent buyers, and eliminate issues with a buyer cancelling.

I had one buyer buy 15 orders, then 10 minutes later cancelled all 15. Under these new rules of SC charging my CC 10% immediately, I would be well out of pocket, for what was a buyers mistake.

You said, "I completely disagree with you as you said unfair." Now you're saying, "this is not fair! I agree with you!", which is it? Is the non-refundable fee fair or not, because at this point I'm not sure what your stance is.
Also, myself and another seller have made several suggestions within the dialogue for alternative ways in which SeoClerks can collect their marketplace fee.

Hi check anwebservice comment as example $3,50 owing, if order canceled. This point is like unfair but I am talking about 10% charge, that should be fair and we can talk with how charge collect and timing. Do you have any specific alternative suggestion about sale charge collection?
