How do you manage...?

The holidays are rolling in fast, it's a busy time for everyone. My questions are, do you have even more work during the holidays? If so, how do you manage the extra work and all the other activities?

I actually have lesser work during holidays. Aside from the break from school works and a lot more, I get to choose if I want to work more or less with my freelancing job. It depends, but, what I'm sure of is that I'm more relaxed during holidays because it's mostly my break time.

It's the reverse for me, during Christmas season, I have a lot more work than usual. That means longer work hours as an online freelancer.

You have must be lucky to have more opportunities to work online. This will not make your time idle and you are productive in every aspect. Sometimes, I wanted to have more jobs on my idle time but I haven't find it myself. I'm still searching for it.

During the Holidays, I do have extra side jobs to do and sometimes I'll be working for 12 hours minimum. Sometimes I just want to stop working and just rest or just say no to some job offers, but I can't because I don't want to lose an opportunity.

I kinda agree with you that during the holidays period, we should try to balance work and relaxation. This is something that I always do when it comes to getting to do better health wise.

Mine depends solely on the different sites I'm working on.if the sites have more work for me like microworkers then I spend more time working online but if I have less work then less time online too.

It was always been a working days for me even if it is not a holiday since I have a lot of online jobs that I am doing right now but I think during holidays is that sometimes I do take some rest and spend some time with my family. It is great to take rest during holidays since we can go shopping or have an outdoor activities with our families.

I rarely have a lot of work during the holidays. Whenever I have some work, I always handle it. But, it is good to note that I do so whenever I am not busy, which means I do not accept every other task.

I don't have much work from November to about mid-January. It's not that bad after all because one needs a break after working hard most of the year. In future, I won't even bother trying to find work in December. I'll just take the month off and get busy in January.

Yes, you are right. Everyone deserves a break, even for a hot while. You work to earn money, and you don't work just to be I'll in the future. We need to relax at some point because our bodies are not robots.

As of this moment, I'm currently unemployed so I do freelancing so earn some money. I have a lot of time to do extra jobs during holidays.

That's nice. It's inspiring to know that many of us are still finding ways to earn money despite our circumstances. In a way, it's a blessing to have free time during the holiday season. You get to be with your family more and not worry about work stuff.

Time management is the key. You must know your priorities. Do the first things first.

I agree with you. What matters the most in this very busy world is the proper time management. No matter how busy you are, you'll still be able to complete your task if you strictly follow your schedule.

Sometimes when I badly need some money I would make a lot of works during holidays because it is the time where I can make more money since all employees who are reporting to work during holidays are entitled for a double pay which is really good since it can increase our monthly pay from our offline work.

Everyone thank you for your answers! I see that not all of us are as busy during the holidays and I'm glad that it's a relaxing time for some. Although, I can relate to others who have more work during the holidays and It's honestly overwhelming at times. Hopefully things will slow down near Christmas for all of us who have a lot on our plate.

I don't know that this is the right place to be asking your questions. Or at least we might not be the right people to be asking. If you're referring to hosting jobs related to any of those sources, then yes. You can start an SEOclerks job by going to the top of your screen and clicking on "SELLER" -> "SELL" -> "Sell a service".

Any other questions you might have would probably be better directed toward SEOclerks help by emailing [email protected].

I have same routine as ordinary days during holidays since I have regular job. However, I am busy at home because of the food preparation on the day of celebration. We are expecting visitors. I am usually tired during this time. Sometimes, I want to escape but my mom always seek my attention for help. I need to take the responsibility or else it will be a murmuring day.

Actually people are getting more busier during holidays especially during or before Christmas. The positive side of it though is that you are enjoying what you are doing. Being busy with work to earn money is different from being busy decorating your home. I think it is manageable since most of the companies allow you to have your time with your family during these days.

Christmas season has always been the busiest time for me. A lot of events and activities to be prepared during this season for me but not this year. I have to set aside almost everything to take care of my youngest brother who was sick. Thank God he is much better now and hopefully back to normal in January.

I actually was in the same situation last year. I was very busy with my work, but I had to minimize my workload because I had to help my mother who was ill. Though I had to earn money so I could buy Christmas gifts, I chose to set my new top priority and that was my mom.

I manage it well. Some people are extra busy at work during the holidays. The same goes for me. But there are days where it's not as hectic of a schedule. This is when I do my important errands. Good thing I've already finished with my Christmas shopping.

I think if you are talking in terms of freelance work I think it depends on what niche you are in. For most bloggers or anyone in E-commerce this is one of the busiest seasons. This is the season to sell your products, you have a ready made audience because everyone is looking for christmas gifts. You are also trying to prepare yourself for January so that you can hit the ground running. For some freelancers they are less busy because during the holidays their clients slow down. So I think that it all depends. Everyone is different.

I work a university, so things start to slow down during the holiday season. Students and faculty are getting ready for finals and then will be gone for holiday break, so there's not a lot for me to do in marketing necessarily (except start wishing prospective students happy holidays!).

Our office is also closed for a week or so during the holidays which will be really nice.

Well , i think that holidays is a time to celebrate and enjoy with your friends and family. I always try to work overtime before the holidays and try to compensate for the holiday work. Most of the times i am able to get enough time to celebrate and enjoy my holidays. Once you are able to spend time with your friends and family you will feel refreshed and recharged to restart your work.

Here in my country holidays are very frequent and most of the time we are busy doing some shopping and other important activities that we want to do. We are blessed to have a lot of holidays because it is time for us to have some bonding moments in our family and friends.

Christmas Season to me means more opportunities to earn more money. I get really busy during the Holiday Season and I like it because it prevents me from going out and spending a lot of money, instead, I get to work more and earn more.

As a freelancer, my work is not really influenced by the holiday season. There are times when I get cramped with work and then there are others when I get quite some free time. It really isn't dependent on the holiday season for me, because when an offer comes and I'm free, I take it.

I am a part time freelancer with my full time job in the office. For the coming holidays it is my usual vacation time that I avail so that I can attend to the preparation for the events in the Christmas season. There are parties and gatherings that I have to forgo with my freelancing in some days. That is the main reason why my earnings during the holidays get smaller.

How do you manage: I adjusted my time during this holiday season in which is my 8 hours sleep before become 6 hours for me to have additional time to do some stuffs for christmas like decorating, making more extra online jobs for additional income for the preparation in this coming holiday. Doble time to be exact. This kind of holiday is one of the most specially holiday that everyones awaited so everyone make it extra ordinary and do all what they can do to make it possible.

If you get more work than you can cope with then I'll advise you resell to someone else whose services you have tried and you trust the quality. I never advice turning customers away because most of them will return or refer their friends if your service is excellent. By turning them away, you are losing potential repeat customers.
