Be sure your services are optimized for both the internal search algorithms as well as the algorithms of Google, Yahoo, and Bing so you can hopefully rank within them and bring in additional traffic. You never know, you could get a bunch of orders from rankings for a random keyword no one is targeting
You also need to make sure your services are optimized in order to make someone want to purchase from you. If you just have a wall of text when someone lands on your service, they will click away, and that means you've just lost a sale
One sure fire way to increase your sales is to promote one of the services you think will sell the best and watch how many people come to pay you for a job well-done You should also think about interlinking your services, so people can see everything you offer without leaving the service they landed on, this will definitely boost your sales.
You can do a permanent homepage feature, but it's currently sold out, or you can do a category feature for much less and get some traffic to your services. I paid $60 for a category feature and I've made over $1,200 here on SEOclerks just because of that. I didn't make that much from just one promotion, I think I did it 2 or 3 times, but people found my services easier due to my listing being at the top of the category. I now have recurring clients coming to me each month for content writing, and you could have that too, but promotion is key to this if you're just starting out. It takes time to build up your clientele here on SEOclerks, and any other freelancing platform for that matter, so just be patient :) Be sure your services are optimized for both the internal search algorithms as well as the algorithms of Google, Yahoo, and Bing so you can hopefully rank within them and bring in additional traffic.
