Review blogging to get affiliate sales

Blogging is nothing new when it comes to online marketing, we've been doing it pretty much since the first website went live. You can set up blog posts and publish or schedule them for your subscribers and search engine traffic who might turn into a subscriber. You can create massive amounts of content in order to bring in a bunch of traffic from all over the world, as long as the search engines are loving what you're typing up lol. Blogging to make money isn't new either, we've been doing it for years and it doesn't show any sort of slowing. We will write up blog posts in order to get the traffic in and hopefully, that turns into a purchase, or many of them, in order to keep us motivated to publish more quality content.

Did you know that you could blog as an affiliate and make more doing that than posting your affiliate links around the world on different types of websites? There are thousands of people out there writing up blog posts and embedding their own affiliate links in order to make a sale, or multiple sales, instead of going to someone else's website and placing (spamming) their affiliate links. Spamming isn't a good thing to do, you're just putting yourself at risk of getting banned, so you should try to avoid that lol.

In this discussion, I'll be going over why people get into blogging and why they promote affiliate links through their blogs and also do reviews on products.

Why people get into blogging
You could be a professional blogger or a stay at home mom, blogging is accessible to anyone who wants to be online and post content. There's no prejudice when it comes to blogging, as long as you have an idea and want to write about it, you can get online and do so.

A lot of people get into blogging because they have a passion about something. If you know a lot about a topic, you can typically write about multiple topics and create high-quality content. Even if you don't know much about a topic, but you want to write about it, you can certainly do it but I would recommend doing some research prior to publishing anything so you don't seem like you're unintelligent lol.

In the past, blogging was seen as a sort of online diary where people could post whatever they wanted. Blogging has actually evolved from this and almost every business is blogging in order to bring in traffic, which turns into increased sales due to the increased search engine rankings for specific keywords that were targeted.

In short, people get into blogging because they are passionate about a topic, and eventually it turns into a business for some of them Review blogging to get affiliate sales

Why people get into affiliate marketing
Affiliate marketing isn't anything new when it comes to online marketing and blogging. People get into affiliate marketing because they want to make some money online, but they don't have a service of their own. After they decide they want to make some money online, and they don't have their own products or services, they will stumble upon affiliate marketing where you just have to share links and get a commission when someone purchases after clicking your links.

There have been plenty of millionaire affiliate marketers, and that's the main reason a lot of people get into it. People think affiliate marketing is easy because others are getting extremely rich from just posting links, but it's much more than that. You need to have dozens of websites ranking for difficult keywords before you can start to see a massive amount of sales coming in. Even then, you will need to set up sales funnels as well as capture as many emails as you can prior to them clicking through to the site you're an affiliate for.

In short, people get into affiliate marketing in order to make some quick cash Review blogging to get affiliate sales

How blogging can help you gain affiliate sales
Blogging combined with affiliate marketing is a great marriage and will usually help you make more money in the long run compared to just posting your affiliate links around the internet. You can blog for free, or set up a paid hosting account with a free or paid WordPress theme, and try to get top rankings in the search engines for your desired keywords in order to make a bunch of commissions from your traffic clicking through.

Popular ad networks such as Facebook ads and adwords don't allow users to promote affiliate links through their systems. You can, however, advertise your blog that has affiliate links within it. If you're posting high-quality content to your blog and setting up ads for your top posts, you can likely get a decent amount of traffic coming into it through Facebook ads and adwords. Since this paid traffic is super targeted, hopefully, you will notice a higher engagement rate and your conversion rate should be much higher than normal.

Combining blogging and affiliate marketing won't show it's true potential until you are getting traffic from the search engines as well as PPC traffic.

Why reviewing items is good for affiliate marketing
Blogging and reviewing items has always been a popular thing to do with affiliate marketers. All you do is sign up for a companies affiliate program, and once accepted, you post a very positive review of the product or service they offer and add your own affiliate links.

Why does this work so well? It works well because people will look up "(product/service name) reviews" and if you're one of the first to be found in the search results, you will likely get the commission when they do buy. Reviewing services or products and adding your affiliate links works so well because you're essentially convincing the person that they are in good hands with the company or service you're promoting. The customer is looking for what others are saying, others who have already worked with or purchased the product they are interested in, and they come across your positive review and are instantly sold. They will then click through your affiliate link, as long as it's easily viewable, and purchase from the company you're promoting. This will get you a commission and everyone is hopefully happy long enough for you to get paid Review blogging to get affiliate sales

In Conclusion
Blogging, affiliate marketing and reviewing products or services is an amazing thing to do if you want to make some quick cash. This is because when you're reviewing smaller company products or services, it's usually easier to rank in the search engines for "(company) reviews" or "(product) reviews" and siphon traffic to your blog posts, which all have your affiliate links to the specific company or product Review blogging to get affiliate sales

It's great because there is such a big earning opportunity especially since e-commerce is becoming increasingly popular nowadays. I know that a lot of the big YouTubers do this as well where they either review or advertise a product so that they get paid by the business that created that product. It is quite a difficult thing to do though especially at the start because you have to focus so much on marketing your blog.

My direction in freelancing is affiliate marketing but I was advised to have my own website to be more effective with my affiliate marketing. They say that I can advertise my products on my own website so there will be no restrictions whatsoever. And it would be a good combination if my website is a blog. Who knows if that blog would be popular with so many regular reader. That could be my dream come true.

I know of many affiliate marketing sites that do product reviews and some sites where the reviewer gets free products as well as earn commissions from sales.

This is the perfect situation, to be honest. I know that quite a lot of YouTubers that I have subscribed to get a lot of free goodies from gaming companies to either advertise on their videos or have a try of it and give their thoughts. This is such a great thing to be able to do because you can get to try out and keep products for free and like you said, you can earn commission from sales as well

I think the reviewer who gets the product to review are among the rare ones. I have never found myself being invited for some product trial or launch. So that's something I can't say I'd be looking for. But if you can get such opportunity, I am sure that would be a good option. There are many people who are blogging these days and having sales. But it requires some efforts from what I have seen.

I think product review, service reviews definitely help. Though earning on regular basis requires a lot of traffic and lot of efforts. But based on what I have seen with the affiliate marketing. I think the more you write the more you have chances to convert the people. Though nothing about the conversion with the links is going to be easy. You'd have to struggle and see if you can convert the affiliate links. I have seen some of the time marketing people work really harder on this to convert the content. But it takes time for those things.

I thought about doing this, with the Amazon affiliate program. However, the concern I had initially stopped me from making this venture. I have a problem with blogs that are review blogs only to make an income by being an affiliate. I feel that the author will say anything to make a sale, and I do not trust blog reviews of products. This is why I stopped this venture. I even had the blog ready, then did some research and stopped completely.

Now there is successful blogs out there that are making good income monthly by reviewing products, but I do not think these authors are actually really honest about some products, and will just say anything to make a quick buck. If I had a blog, that had about 50k traffic monthly, and about 30% of that traffic using my amazon affiliate links, then you can bet i would be set. But I do not feel comfortable in doing this because I would think, as i did, that the author was only saying positive things to make sales.

However, I would love opening an affiliate store, and i am actually in the process of creating an affiliate portal script to add products from any vender. Would be much easier for me, and i am sure it would be easier for others too.

Blogging is one of the approaches most people use online nowadays to drive tons of traffic to their websites. Generating sales is at the back of the mind when we perform all the blogging activities. We leverage all available resources at our disposal to generate massive traffic to our websites, knowing for real that, once traffic starts flowing, sales will automatically start coming. To run a blog successfully, it has to be a blog created on a WordPress theme and all SEO resources activated.

I think it is a great idea, because people learn what you have to say, and know they can depend on you. I think more people should do this honestly, and can make money when they choose to do this. They are gaining the trust of various readers. I think it is a great thing to do honestly and will lead to dividends.

Great tips in the article, thanks!

I've done affiliate marketing myself, and review sites / content is indeed a great way to make bank in this field. Just make sure to find something that's not highly competitive (like VPN reviews, video game reviews, etc.), because breaking into those niches will be very, very hard seeing how some people have been doing it for literally a decade, so dethroning them will be a massive undertaking, and something a newbie should not attempt.

A good way to earn from an affiliate is to build contents around the affiliate product and services and place affiliate ads on the content. People who read your article might be interested in the product and service you are promoting in the article. Placing affiliate products and services on your site is not enough to drive sales, you need to tell the users that the product and services are useful. You can do this by reviewing the affiliate product and services.

Yes, making product reviews is a great way to increase affiliate sales. I see numerous websites doing this. There are those that review smartphones, tablets, web host providers and many more. Of course, the main problem is how to drive traffic to your site. And if you already have a steady flow of traffic, it would be pretty easy to get sales.

Of course, positive reviews of products are the ones that would make you money. But negative reviews could also lead to a sale. Review a product that you don't like, then after the review, recommend a product that you like. It's pretty effective.

There is also a site, a blogging community called Virily.com where you can publish product reviews if you don't have your own site. I believe you are allowed one affiliate link per post.

I have heard of this site, however, I have never checked the site. If they are allowing affiliate links, we can make money through affiliate marketing. However, I guess, you need off site visitors to generate sales. The onsite visitors are the individuals who themselves are trying to generate sales. But the main question is the SERP of the site called virily. If the site does not have a good position on SERP< how can you gain off site visitors.

cmoneyspinner
I get all fuzzy when you say words like “SERP”. (O.o) What I can tell you is that when I review my “Notifications” in the dashboard, I can see when my posts have received external viewers or “guest views”. That means somebody from the outside found the post and viewed it. I suspect that the owners made it so that external visitors can view posts and purchase products if they like. The site owners no doubt allow the affiliate links as a monetary incentive for the members since we don't earn very much via the advertising_revenue-share plan. At least they allow the members to keep 100% of commissions earned from affiliate product sales. That's the best answer I can give you.

I have written for numerous article sites, for examples Helium, Squidoo, Hubpages, Bubblews and the sites that nobody remembers. I have been paid by many sites, howeve,r numerous sites have also denied payment. can you imagine, when bubblews went down, I had $1300 with them. If you afre earning well with virily it is good for you, however, I think having your own blog is better, you might not earn good, however, the experience is rewarding.

I have heard the horror stories about the “Bubblews nonpayment scandal”. Out of all of the sites that went belly up, this particular site strikes a really sour note! But I do agree with you about maintaining your own blogs. I started trying to blog before I knew anything about the blogging sites like the ones you mentioned. I'm glad I found them. But by the time I found them, I didn't want to give up my stand alone blogs. I had grown attached to them. Review blogging to get affiliate sales

P.S. Always nice talking with you. You give me a lot of good feedback at this sites and I see you also at other sites. Thanks so much!

I was introduced to inline writing in 2005. There was a site called gather and it allowed to post articles, pictures and graphics and make points for the submission. These points could be cashed out for real money. I never reached payout threshold. later I joined helium. I did make money on Helium, however, I could not cash out because paypal was not available in my home country. I began online writing as a career in 2010. It took me two years to receive my payments from hubpages. I was happy with hubpages until Bubblews surfaced. During the good days in Bubblews, I was making around $400 every month. However, when the site stopped paying, I already had around $1300 with them. I stated my own blogs because I saw the dangers of publishing on third party site. You would be denied payment otr the site could go down (just like squidoo or helium).
PS: I also see you on other sites and it is good to learn from you. Cheers

Blogging must be reviewed constantly to ensure that you make lots of sales daily. This is the secret known by affiliate marketers that led to their success and breakthroughs online. Those who have become successful affiliate marketers today figured those things out on time about online entrepreneurship and followed suit.

With the question why people get into blogging, the answer now is for the passion. I mean blogging for passion is the majority of the reasons. But in the near future, it will be for earning money instead of for passion. As what we can see in those influencers or popular bloggers, they are earning lots of money not only by the ads and the traffic but also by endorsements. That’s my prediction in the near future that blogging will be more for the money and not for the passion anymore.

If you choose to blog because you are passionate about blogging, it will be a rewarding experience. If you become a blogger because you want to earn a lot of money, you will end up being unhappy because it is hard to earn from blogging. My blogs are more than two years old, yet I don't earn as much as I earn from forum posting.
