People trust reviews on blogs as much as the next platform
Blog reviews are a big thing when it comes to branding and increasing your own sales. There are plenty of times when I get a sale and the client says they purchased because they saw a positive review on another website. There is a right way to get reviews and a wrong way, and I'm here to help you get plenty of reviews the right way lol
Getting reviews from bloggers isn't anything new, it's actually been around ever since there were blogs and people wanted to post content to them. There are blogs dedicated to reviewing websites and services and there are niche related blogs that post a review based on their own experiences from something they purchased or were given.
In this discussion I will be going over how you can acquire some good blog reviews about your product or service in order to increase your own sales. Believe it or not, people will find your website and then look you up online to see what other people are saying about you. If you did everything right, they will land on the reviews that you obtained for yourself and it will ensure a sale almost every time People will usually look up "(your domain) review" in order to see what others are already saying, and make a purchasing decision based on that, even though they don't know the people posting the content.
Niche related blog reviews
Getting a review on a niche related blog is a great thing to get when it comes to your search engine rankings. Think of this as a one two punch, you get more sales because of a positive review on a website or blog and you also get a decent boost in the search engine rankings from the niche related backlink you will get
If you're having trouble finding your own positive reviews on niche related blogs, it's usually due to them not being there. To avoid this, you need to contact every niche related blog you can find and offer your services for free. You can offer a steep discount, but you likely won't get as many reviews because the person had no intention of purchasing in the first place, so why should they now? lol.
After you scrape together a large list of niche related blogs, you can send them all the same email or fill out their "contact us" form and say something along the lines of...
Hi there,
My website is (your website here) and I was wondering if you would like some of our services for free in return for an honest review on your website?
We are new and trying to get out name out there, and getting honest reviews on websites like yours is one of the best ways to do this. We lose money because we are giving away our services, but it should slowly even out in the long run if you are kind enough to help us out.
Thank You,
(Your Name Here)
Sending this little snippet of an email will usually get people to open up their hearts and help you out. You're contacting a niche related blog, so they should jump at the deal for some free services in return for an "honest" review
Purchasing positive blog reviews
If you can't get enough people to write up positive reviews on their own blogs, you can always purchase some
Now this is a less ethical way of getting positive reviews out there, but it still works very well with potential clients and increasing your search engine rankings.
You can simply search for blog reviews here on SEOclerks and find the ones that are closely related to your niche. When I do this, I will click "Add to favorites" and move on to the next service. After I get through all of the service listings, I will then contact each of the sellers and ask the same question...
Hi there,
I'm interested in purchasing your blog review service. Can you post a positive review and dofollow backlink for my website (your website here)?
Thanks,

If they respond by saying something along the lines of "Yes, I can do that for you!" then they get a new sale from me lol. Now some of these bloggers may not be native to the United States where I live, so I will go ahead and write up the review myself and send it over to them for posting. Some of you are saying "That's ridiculous! You have to write the review and all they have to do is copy and paste it to complete the work?!?!?!" and yeah, that's what happens. I prefer to write up the review myself because I know it will be in English and not broken English. I can control how the review is written and ensure that it's going to help me out in the long run.
Writing your own reviews on your own blogs
This is a more strenuous task because it requires you to pretty much run your own private blog network, or PBN, in order to get a bunch of reviews up and running. If you already have a bunch of blogs up and running and you treat it as a business, you can consider it a PBN and post quality content about yourself in order to increase your sales lol.
Writing reviews on your own websites might come back to bite you in the butt if you do it wrong. you will need to make sure that your websites can't be linked together, so get different hosting companies for each blog. This is because each blog will be shown on a different host, keeping them off of the same server and IP range.
If your blogs or websites get seen on the same hosting and IP range, you will likely get a penalty if you're only posting positive content about yourself. You can run a few different blogs and websites on the same server and IP range, but they can't really help each other out with falsified positive content for very long.
Affiliate marketing blog reviews
If you have an affiliate program, there are hundreds of thousands of affiliates out there that would gladly post some quality content for you, as long as they can use their own affiliate link.
You won't get much of an SEO benefit from this unless you have an affiliate program that doesn't show something like an "aff ID" in the URL. If your affiliates can promote a subpage dedicated to them, you will get a benefit in the SERPs because it just looks like the random person is promoting your website without getting any sort of commission when the people they refer make a sale.
Affiliates can increase your sales and traffic exponentially if you have the right ones. Not all affiliates are the same, some can send you 1 or 2 sales a month while others can send you 100 a day.
You'll need to get your website in front of them before they will think of publishing content for you. If your offer isn't enticing, kiss their interest goodbye because they won't do the work in order to make pennies on the dollar lol. Some affiliates will set up entire websites dedicated to sending you traffic, in hopes of making some commission. These are the affiliates you need working with you and posting positive content about your website or blog
Random people reviewing your product or service on their blog
These reviews you can't really control since they are from people who are happy or upset with your service or products. They owned a blog before they purchased from you and decided to tell the world about you.
The one thing you can do is boost up the positive reviews that do pop up online by building some high quality backlinks to them. I've done this plenty of times and noticed some sales coming through a third party website that I've never contacted. You can also do this with all of your other reviews and swamp the first page of the search results with positive content about your website
In Conclusion:
Blog reviews are seen as truthful because someone took the time to write up the content for everyone to see. If you are writing the reviews yourself or just asking for some positive reviews from random blogs, the users won't know the difference. As long as you're getting positive content out there about your website, people will read it and make a purchasing decision right then and there. Blog reviews sometimes trump websites like Yelp and SuperPages as well. This is because anyone can post to those review platforms, and they aren't regulated very much. There have actually been services that go out and post dozens of falsified reviews to these platforms just to knock down their competition. It's petty, but it gets done every day
So stick with the positive blog reviews and try to avoid the review platforms in the beginning
