Automated SEO software isn't a one stop shop for top rankings

When it comes to top rankings, you won't hear someone using automated software saying they're making thousands a day because all they use is Xrumer, SeNuke, No Hands SEO, Scrapebox or GSA SER.  Now there are many other automates SEO software out there, but these are seen as some of the top ones.  I've used all of them for various tasks, but I know that they won't get me top rankings within difficult niches even if I use them all together strategically.

Google, Yahoo! and Bing are constantly configuring their algorithm to pick apart these pieces of software and they will penalize your website if you're seen spamming crap content and backlinks across the web.  Sure, you could use the software for your own purposes and have some success within a very small niche, but you're only seeing success because no one else is doing SEO lol.  If you go to the sales pages of these big software websites, they'll all say something along the lines of "Get top rankings with little effort!" and if that were true then I'd pay for all of them each and every month, no matter the price.  I actually own a lifetime license for SeNuke and I haven't used it in years lol  


Here are some brief descriptions of these top automated SEO softwares

Xrumer: Used for forum posting and profile creation.  You can get backlinks within forum profiles and also in forum posts.  You can spin content with these as well and get millions of backlinks in a short amount of time.

SeNuke:  Sort of a push button web 2.0 system to build, you guessed it, web 2.0's lol.  You can set up how you want the software to build your linking campaign in order to achieve top rankings, but don't get upset when it doesn't work well.

No Hands SEO:  No hands SEO reminds me of SeNuke and GSA, except you literally just have to input your information and let the software run.  Like all of these pieces of software, you can add these on a dedicate server or VPS and let them run for a long time.

Scrapebox:  This piece of software is used for blog posting.  You can scrape thousands of URLs with this software, just like the others, and place links within those blogs as comments or posts.  There are AA (auto approved) lists floating around and being sold that will get you a backlink guaranteed, but that's not always a good thing.

GSA SER:  GSA SER came on the scene around the same time as No Hands SEO, maybe a little sooner, and pitched the same thing as the others, top rankings!  It did work for a bit, but the search engines soon learned how it was working and nerfed it into oblivion.  This software works like the rest of them, it places backlinks for you in order to gain top rankings blah blah blah.



Why these pieces of software don't work like they're intended to is because the search engines regularly edit their algorithms to work against automated SEO services that want to artificially rank websites.  If you ran a business (Google) would you want people taking advantage of it? 


Now with all of that being said, you shouldn't rule out all SEO software.  I still use software all the time, but I don't always use it for building backlinks to my websites.  I will use SEO software to tier links my second tier links in order to boost them a bit more.  This has been a proven practice to work, and it doesn't usually send a penalty to your website lol.  If you penalize your second tier link and then your first tier link gets penalized, it's like a bad snowball affect that will usually hurt your main website, so be careful

I use scrapebox every single week and that's because it's so diverse that building links with it seems to be 1 or 100 actions it can perform.  I can scrape together a list of blogs and filter them based on PR, even though that doesn't matter anymore, then I can go through them and see which ones I can try to get guest posts on

The downside of using automated SEO software is that you don't actually have full control over everything that is happening.  You may try to place 10 links but instead you screwed up the software, or it had an error and now you have 10,000,000 backlinks in 24 hours.  Everyone knows that building that amount of links in that short of time will only hurt your rankings.



In Conclusion:
You need to use your brain when using automated software.  If you don't know how to use it, study it and figure out what works and what doesn't.  After you know everything about it, you can be more at ease when running it overnight while you sleep.  The problem with a lot of software is that people don't bother to learn how to use it, and then they say IT was the problem for their tanked rankings, even though the person clicked "Start" on their own and knew what they were doing.  It's not the softwares fault for bad rankings, it's your own for using it.
