Finally, I Ordered The Phone I Want !

Today, I called my phone provider to ask if I can already order my free phone even if it will be ending by November.

I was surprised when she said its actually ending on September and that yes, I can already order my free phone.

It's not actually for free because I will be paying $192 for it since, it is not one of the the phones for free in my bracket of service contract with them.

But that's okay. I really would like to have this phone. Besides, it is a discounted price.

I ordered the Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro and the color is gold, since it is one of the latest of Samsung phones actually released just last July . It also has a nice camera front and back and big internal storage too.
Though, it is at the moment out of stock, but they told me that they will call me , once a stock arrives.

I want to thank everyone who gave me suggestions of Samsung phones and as to what I should really be looking for its specs.

The Samsung Galaxy J series are actually great phones! Especially the J7 with that big screen can rival any flagship phone out there at a fraction of the price. So yeah, in my opinion, you got a really great deal by getting this phone. After my LG G3 finally dies I'm going to buy a mid-range phone as well, it isn't worth it to pay such a huge price for a top specs smartphone anymore when a mid-range one can get the job done just the same.

That is true. If a phone meets our specifications then why spend much on another brand when there is one cheaper but of quality.
Besides if you buy the expensive phone, in a year or two there will be another new and more up to-date mode.
So, it's better to just buy the one one not so expensive so when a new one comes again after a year or two, you can buy it from your savings of buying a cheaper but of a quality phone before.

I am thrilled with the mention of the Samsung J7 because that is my present phone that I bought 3 years ago. I have to agree that it is one of the best but I couldn’t compare it with the other brands because I haven’t used them yet. I couldn’t afford an iPhone so I settled for Samsung because the features are just right for me since I don’t really need a fast phone much more an elegant phone that is expensive.

But you know, I want that phone because it has a bigger screen and a camera that has a camera that is really still good at night or the night camera. Besides, it has a 32 GB internal storage which is good because I am fond of taking pictures through my cellphone.

Yes, my old cellphone too was a Samsung Galaxy Core and I always use it to take pictures. Though, I want a bigger screen and a bigger internal storage at a not so expensive price. And this newest model simply met my specs.
Yes, Samsung phones are awesome and durable. My Samsung Galaxy Core fell at the cement floor a dozen times but its still good until now.

Congrats on your new "purchase" of the new series, Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro. I owned a Samsung smartphone but the older type , dual sim card type. It is an old phone, slow but I love the camera function. User friendly and superb color when photo are taken. Do show us your phone when it has arrived. Yes, it is common for you to renew your service provider and get a free phone or top up a small amount for a new phone. Same goes with Malaysia too.

Just like you, my old phone is a Samsung too, the Samsung Galaxy Core. It is also very useful to me specially the camera which I always use for any occasion and for taking pictures to be attached on my posts.

So the process is the same there in Malaysia with regards to the free phone. We pay a small amount to have the phone we like even if it is not in the free phones for our bracket contracted.

Yes, I shall let all of you see it here when it arrives. I owe everyone of you the suggestions you all made for me to be able to make up my mind, especially that it has to be the new model for 2017.

Wow, let me follow the train and tell you congratulation on your new samsung phone, well the last time I used a Samsung phone was 2years ago, after I vowed that I will never use a samsung phone again, after it frustrated life out of me, with it's poor GPU and battery issues.
If I were you I would have added some few bucks and order for an IPhone or Sony.
But you know what's good for you though.

Not yet. It is still out of stock and my name is in line for those waiting for that kind of phone. It makes me so excited.
Really, you were disappointed with your Samsung phone. Mine is Samsung Galaxy Core and also more than 2 years old since it is on a 30-month contract. It has fallen a dozen times, but it is still so operational. Though, lately, it would hang. Maybe because it has fallen a lot already.
No, I like Samsung because it is compatible with any phone especially in the Bluetooth transfer of pictures from another phone.
Besides, iPhone and Sony are very expensive phones.
Well, they offer me Sony Experia for my free phone. But I want this newest model of Samsung though.

I too would like to say congratulations. I also have a Samsung, but I am in desperate need of an upgrade, and it's small screen is just not that great at conducting a lot of online business. I actually just got my new one in the mail because my charger port went bad, and I found out that I was up for an upgrade which was cheaper than my insurance deductible on the phone they shipped to me. In any case, I have heard a lot of good things about this phone, so have fun and enjoy it.

So you too have a Samsung. Mine is also a Samsung- a Galaxy Core. I also would like a new phone with a bigger screen so that's why this one is the one I chose.
Besides, it is just released last July 2017, so it's a really new model.

Nothing bring joy as in getting what you desire.It was a good thing to go for what you really needed which was a Samsung phone.I hope you get to enjoy the features listed on the manual.I have alway read good reviews about the phone, So I'm sure you'll enjoy it

Indeed. After 30 months, I am having a new phone and I like it to be the newest model. So, this one is really the newest since it was just released last July 2017.
After all your suggestions here when I posted that I am asking what Samsung phone to have since I am a satisfied Samsung user ever since, I decided on this.
Meanwhile that I am still waiting for it I will bear with my old Samsung.

That is right. I know the feeling of having finally what you want. Having the phone you wanted for so long has a great impact and the feeling is great as well. Android phone is one of the best phone so far. Samsung is an Android phone so you have no worries the quality that it could give to you.

May I know what company is this? Is it your Internet provider? The one that has a free smart phone plan? I thought that you should already have the phone even if it isn't paid yet since you are with the company? Isn't that the way it's supposed to be? Unless you are doing it for lay-away method.

It's postpaid line with a phone service provider - Globe. I am contracted with it for 30 months, so now that it is nearing, I am excited to have the newest released Samsung phone.
It has a free smartphone indeed and one they offered me is Sony Experia. But I don't like that so I upgraded the phone and will pay $192 for it.

I had Sony Xperia and I really dont like it. I gave it to my sister then. I am not a fan of sony mobile phones. Samsung is really a good choice. You will definitely love it and you will enjoy using it very much. The camera has high quality and the android system is fantastic.

Ah, I see that you took my advice on the other thread and bought the one that I've suggested for you. A really good choice because the J7 is an amazing phone - you won't be disappointed, trust me. Just don't forget to also buy a case for it so if you ever accidentally drop it, it won't get damaged at all! I'm a long time Samsung user and fan as well

I am actually a Samsung user and fan as well. My Samsung Galaxy Core has fallen a dozen times but it is still with me. Though, now it would hang already. Maybe because of the frequent fall.
Yes, this time I will buy a case for it because I have read some reviews that it is sensitive to falls. But how come it is when all my past Samsung phones are not? Maybe because it was a fake one the reviewer bought?

A nice phone so congratulations. I'm looking forward to the day that I am able to upgrade my phone but unfortunately, I have about 10 months left on my contract. They do allow me to upgrade earlier to a new phone but I do believe that I have to pay slightly extra but it is not much (I believe it was around £30 the last time I upgraded earlier). My phone is gold as well so you have made a good choice there although I bought a case after a while so you can barely see the gold anymore. Hope they restock it soon for you

My contract end by November. But then, they allowed me to upgrade my plan now and order the phone I like but with corresponding additional amount since it isn't one of the phones for free on my plan.
My contract was for 30 months, so I am excited to have a new phone.
I am a satisfied Samsung user. Mine is a Galaxy Core. It has fallen to the floor a dozen times but still it is so operational. Except that these days it would hang already.
Is your phone a Samsung too or an iPhone. I cannot afford the iPhone and don't like it that it is not compatible with other phones especially with Bluetooth.
I am in line for the orders.

I've been trying to get a new Samsung J1 but it's just sooo expensive in my country. and when I finally got the money they just raised the price so much I just couldn't afford it. I guess I'm going to keep trying until I make it. Getting new thing is always motivation to work a little more...

Here, when it is newly released it is expensive still. But when many months have passed, its price is a bit lower already.

I guess that's how it is with new products. Though it could also be that if it is so in demand, their price could increase. That's how the law of demand and supply is.

Galaxy J7 Pro seems to be a good investment if you ask me. Though I am more into Xiaomi phones. I prefer not to invest into the phones such as samsung as they are a bit harder to manage for me. They are kind of bulky. I have decided to buy Xiaomi Note 5A. That being said, have fun with your Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro.

I haven't heard of that brand of phone here. Maybe it's just available in your country.
I am excited with the J7 Pro. I have been reading its specifications as compared with iPhone7 and with its not so expensive price compared with iPhone7 it is a great phone, specially it size and storage ability and the camera.

I have never tried Xiaomi phone and have no idea what are the capabilities of it. I have seen that kind of mobile phone in the market but never watch yet the reviews online. I will definitely check how good it is.

If it's available in your country then it's definitely worth the investment. It seems to have some cool specs. And also there are some really good features for that. It also comes with lot cheaper cost compared to other phones. So it's worth trying out. I'd recommend if you have this on low cost.

Yeah seems that is worth the price. I am rooting also to Huawei mid range phone. I found the specs are amazing and the camera is really on top. There are many brand nowadays that is almost same specs as the front runner mobile phone.

Do you have Oppo? That brand seems to be another option worth going for. I don't know how much investment does other brands do on the specs. But oppo seems to be good at the screen and the phone battery. So I think it's worth a shot on that note.

I dont have Oppo mobile phones but I know this brand. It is same as Huawei which is midrange phone. It is good brand and offers high quality of specs as well. In my country many oppo stores everywhere especially in the malls. The price is worth it also.

Yeah Huawei seems to be another good brand but their specs are not impressive. As in the processor and RAM for that price you can get with other phones like xiaomi. I prefer xiaomi only because of the processor and RAM. Other things don't matter much.

Will definitely try what you are suggesting. I heard about that Huawei also but one thing that I liked in that mobile phone is the quality of its camera. I love taking photos and I need a very good quality of camera. If Xiaomi has it then I would pick that for sure.

Yes Xiaomi's A2 and onwards phone are really good for the photography. They have launched a series named POCO F1 and that series seems to be making some really good conversion on that note. It has some good specs and it is made specifically for the photography.

Xiaomi is good because they have managed to tweak the UI that looks like apple. And also extremely easy to use on android. The thing is once you get used to the xiaomi's phone it is kind of harder to make use of any other brand.

Hey that's fantastic! I remember commenting on a topic you had posted a while ago, asking about what would be the right phone for you. If I recall correctly, I remember typing about my experience with Samsung Galaxy phones and how reliable they've been to me. I'm so happy that you went with a Galaxy phone because I'm sure that Samsung has only gotten better over the years. I wouldn't know, because my S3 still works and haven't had the need to replace it! That is right. Samsung has been known for the quality over the years. I tried other leading mobile phone brands like Iphone,Htc,Sonny Xperia and nokia but Samsung stood out among them. I like all about samsung. I have samsung S5, I bought this 3 years ago and I keep on using and it and still working perfectly. Many unknown brands of phone today like those mid range phone brands but I would rather choose to try one of them which is Huawei. Huawei has been develop and the quality of this phone is competing from the leading brands. I amazed in the camera of this brand and the other system upgrade as well.

I regret to say that my Samsung S3 unfortunately broke last month. There wasn’t any physical damage to it, but something inside simply burnt out and the screen didn’t work anymore. I can’t say I’m even mad though, considering it lasted me several years.

You make a good point about Huawei, though. I think that they’re really making a name for themselves and bringing some serious heat to the competition. I owned a Huawei phone for a while which I ended up giving to my mother, and even though it was on the low-budget end, it was still a fantastic smartphone.

I am sorry about your S3. Have you tried to contact the technician about the issues of your mobile phone? I think they can able to fix it.
Yeah Huawei is really kicking and keeps me impress by the new technology they put in. They have a very high quality of camera and other features. Huawei also make a huge impact to the customers and keep on updating. I will purchase Huawei Nova 3i soon.

That's awesome I actually don't like Samsung I have IPhone since forever, I think Samsung has so many options that I don't need plus I love the iPhone camera. My friends had bad experiences with Samsung phones.
But, the phone you bought seems pretty cool you can take a selfie with a hand gesture. How awesome is that?
You can use the Secure Folder which helps you to save your things in private. Hope you enjoy your new phone

IPhone for me is too expensive because I don't use it for other purpose except for calling , texting, playing games , watching a video and searching some things at the net. Besides, its Bluetooth seems not compatible with Samsung and other phone's bluetooth.
Really, my coming phone can take a selfie with a hand gesture. Wow that's cool. I actually don;t know that it can do that. he he
So there's a secure folder? Oh, I hope I can find it easily how to use those.

I am glad that you have chosen a Samsung phone. I have always been using Samsung phones and the good thing with those phones is that you can buy one according to your requirements and budget. Indeed, with Samsung you can buy one that suits your requirement and most of all your budget. Unlike iPhone which is so expensive that not everyone can afford.

I am samsung galaxy user too and I would say that you picked the right choice. Samsung is one of the leading brand in terms of mobile phone nowadays and their quality is on top of the line. The camera is amazing and other specs are superb. Congratulations to you.

Congrats on your new phone! I just bought a new smartphone in April. And I will be honest there is nothing like it in the world. Its PC, Calculator, Memo, calendar, clock, voice recorder etc. I almost feel like my cell phone is a part of me now. I never leave home without it.
