Adsense vs Media.net

Hello guys,
You have probably heard and gotten tired of hearing the word Adsense. They're cool, though strict with acceptance and policies. But that's what keeps them going anyway. And not to forget, they are powered by Almighty Google!
So how about....

Media.net?
Owned by a combination of Yahoo and Bing (the last I checked), I have read great stuff about this system as well. Although they give preference to sites with more of US & Canada traffic, I think they aren't bad at all. Is there anyone using media.net? How do they compare with Adsense?

Thanks.

I wish that I could compare them. But I can never get approval for Media.Net. I don't what the criteria is but whatever it is, I don't qualify. By contrast, I have been approved for Google Ad Sense for years. But I have yet to make that $100. Why? Because every time I get somewhere where there is a potential to earn revenue, something changes that impacts the revenue potential! It's disappointing. But from what I've been reading even Google is having a hard time earning advertising revenues.

Yep, looks like Media.net is really strict on their approval processes. Getting into their ad program is really difficult to achieve.

Google's AdSense though has been pretty relaxed on who they accept.

The Adsense earnings is now going very low because of the new policy that the revenue sharing was cut down to 50% which means what we were earning before will take us twice the time to earn now. We also have an Adsense on our blogs but we are not counting on it anymore because maybe it will take 4 to 5 years before we can cash out $100 which is the minimum for Adsense withdrawal.

Oh my! I knew Media.Net was owned by YAHOO but I didn't know they were bought by a Chinese company. And this is old news too! It happened in 2016. Maybe I should try again to see if I can get approved. That's probably why Media.Net was so strict. The owner had plans to sell it. Google Ad Sense doesn't have plans to sell as far as I know.

Not sure of media.net as I not heard of them before until now, I love Adsense they are strict about most things but in its fairness, I am fond of AdSense and many use it. Some use AdhitZ as well that is a good company which allows you to monetize your websites or blogs. They allow you to monetize so they can use banners on your websites. You can also set up your own ads with them and prices.

If Media.net is a competition of Adsense, I'd say let's support it because Adsense has become a giant and it seems like it can do what it wishes to do. I have several friends who have issues with Adsense regarding the revenue sharing. I think it was cut to 50% that's why the earnings in Adsense had slowed down. Now, if Media.net is an alternative then probably those discontented with Adsense will shift their allegiance.

RE: Media.net ~ It has nothing to do with not supporting it. It's just not that easy to get approved for it. I rather like the way their ads display on a website.

I am using Adsense at the moment, and to be honest is the first time I hear about the Medianet. Do you know if their pay rate is higher than the Adsense? I doubt it, because I heard that Adsense is the highest payer in advertising. I'm not making too much money from Adsense so, if Medianet pays lower it doesn't worth for me to try.
Thanks for sharing this information with us!

I prefer Adsense. I don't trust Yahoo products at all. If I recall correctly, Yahoo's email servers have been hacked several times now, so I doubt it's that secure and bug-free. I only trust Google for these type of stuffs as they make quality software and services. Bing is decent and I'm quite saddened that they had to partner with Yahoo for this.

Well I got media.net approval for my blog tipsonblogging few months back though I removed them because I don't plan on using Adnetworks but affiliate marketing for monetization.

All I can say is
1. Unlike Adsense they require some decent amount of traffic I.E:

- Active blog; that gets comments and publishes posts regularly,

This let's them personalize the ads based on readership.

Need a way to get all this, you can checkout my post on how I pull in 4175+ page views daily, Plus Comments Plus Shares.

I dont want to share links in the discussion here.

so you could hit google for "tipsonblogging 4175 page views" and its right there.

2. Good design

Every program loves a cool site design responsive both on desktop and mobile.

With above.

I believe you can get media.net approval easily.

Stay Cool!

Adsense is still the best Ad company.Media.net can compare with Adsense in just few ways.
Media.net has no minimum website traffic requirement.
.Media.net favours non-tech sites like site about food, fashion and the rest.
They also use bothpal and money transfer which makes life eaiser for publishers.Adense always have fund sending problems.

Adsense is the number 1 online advertising network in the entire world. I use it exclusively in all my sites and I'm very satisfied with the results. They have complete reports and analytics, everything is transparent, and they never miss a payout.

Adsense is the best because Google is very trustworthy. Yes, there are a lot of rules that you need to follow, but they're just pretty standard rules. You'll be fine. Applying for adsense is easy as well. When I first applied, I was approved in just a couple of days.

I'm also satisfied with the earnings in Adsense. It really does coincide with the number of views you have and also the number of clicks made on ads. Adsense vs Media.net

Well For me the fact that Adsence makes it easy to approve and accept all people from world wide makes it even better and preferable than Media.net, So I would choose adsence as a way of monetizing my site.

It is not easy to get approval from media .net as much as the fast speed of getting approval from Adsense.I have been trying for a while and I'm yet to get a feedback from them since the last time.

I read online that with media.net you must have a standard content.I hope to be approved soon.

adsense is for all kinds of websites, small, medium or big. However, Media net does not recognize small websites. In order to get accepted on media.net, your website should be bringing a lot of traffic, however, large traffic is not the requirement for adsense. The basic criteria for approval for adsense is the quality of contents and site, traffic does not really matter in adsense. Therefore, adsense is my preferred ad networks. I have never taken interest in media.net.

Thank you for the information. I was already thinking of shifting to Media.Net for one website of my friend because she is having a problem with Adsense. But with your explanation that Media.Net is more for big websites with high traffic then my friend’s website would probably not qualify. But I am hoping that in the near future, there will be a stiff competition between Adsense and another revenue sharing ads site like Media.Net or maybe a new one.
