Selling someones SEO services and profiting
When it comes to selling SEO services there are so many people doing it that it could be frustrating. If you're just starting off I would suggest that you don't go it alone and partner up with someone or a company in order to lessen the burden on yourself so that you're not overwhelmed.
If you already sell SEO services to the masses you know that it can be busy at times, but what if I told you that it didn't have to be? What if I told you that you could make thousands a month selling someone elses SEO services and only be a middle man?
Well that's what I did the last couple months to see how much I could make, and I was pleasantly surprised lol.
What I did for this to work:
- Sourced services from level 3+ users with a good rating
- Only picked services that were well rounded. A typical "all in one" service.
- Set up a new SEO service website with custom pages for each service and added detailed descriptions for each.
- Made sure that nothing broke Googles/Adwords TOS so I could push the services through their PPC platform
It sounds pretty simple, but it took me a couple weeks to set up because I was doing it in my spare time. I had a theme already so I didn't have to spend $75 on that, but if you want to get a theme you now know how much it could cost you. I set up a hosting account for $15 a month and that included my own IP for SEO reasons and so that I extremely reduced the chances of getting on the same IP as someone who had a banned adwords account. Basically I was reducing the chances of being with bad neighbors lol.
After everything was set up, I was ready to get this bad boy on adwords
I didn't do anything fancy, I just set up a basic text ad campaign and bid low to see where I would be at when starting out. I was only bidding on around 20 specific keywords that were related specifically to what I was selling so that I would increase the chances of making a sale from my services.
So some of you are asking "Well, how much did you make!" and I'm getting to that
When I was paying for my PPC campaign I think I invested around $300 total for the month and I made around $3,000 in sales which turned into around $1,800 in profit but it was closer to $1,500 because of the PPC investment.
The downside about this is that it would likely cost you around $500 to set all of this up and that's if you pay someone to do it for you plus the PPC investment. But even then if I paid someone to set everything up I still would have profited around $1,200 to $1,300
Another downside of this is that it was really hit or miss because the first month I made $1,500 and the next month I broke even while running the same optimized campaign
The upside to this is that I didn't have to actually do any of the SEO myself since I was outsourcing all of that work to people that were already credible here on SEOclerks
They did an amazing job and got me my orders in time for me to send it to my buyers. It's a lot of organization, but it's definitely worth it if you do it right
You could do this for much less if you wanted to, but I decided to throw $300 per month into my campaigns to see how much I could make. I do want to mention that my campaigns weren't even maxed out because I was bidding for page 2 results and I wasn't even running the campaign to it's fullest potential lol
In Conclusion:
It's not too difficult to make money online, you just need to think outside of the box. Selling someone esles services is easy to do as long as you can get your website on adwords and not get banned. be sure to follow all the guidelines set forth by Google so that you can get your ads live and not rejected. It's pretty simple, but one little thing can get your ad banned pretty quick
