Which websites are the most popular in Google results?

I always wondered which websites are the popular and the most shown results in Google index.
Apperently, the most popular websites from an organic point of view (no paid traffic) are Wikipedia - No surprises here. Right?
But overall Wikipedia is shadowed by Amazon, which pays for its ads to be listed in search results but also haves a huge portion of organic traffic and unpaid results.

Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us. It is very useful information. I would love to appreciate your effort. I never had an idea that Facebook is at third position as I was thinking that it maybe at the first place. Wikipedia and Youtube are the most searched on the Google as it is shown in the article. Each and every person who use the internet is aware of Youtube and Wikipedia. I still remember the time when Youtube was launched.

This ranking can be changed as it depends on the performance and the user based interests. I am really thankful for letting us know about it.

Yes, I believe that Amazon is the most popular website in Google,
Many people go to Amazon to buy stuff from all of the world, Since Amazon has the Shipping ability.

That's what I've been saying if your a startup or a small company then you could forget about ranking. SEO does help a bit but don't ever concentrate on the advance part of it, it's counter productive, but you can use the SEO basics, it's more effective.

I know that Amazon is such a big company in the internet but it is surprising to find it in the number 1 slot in Google search. That position in the search result may be due to the products that are sold in Amazon hence when someone searches for a particular product then Amazon is tapped in the search. With the other chart, Wikipedia is understandably the information bin so it is only right for it to be in the number 1 position.
