A thesis statement is a sentence that makes a claim about a topic and predicts how the topic will be developed.
Yes, I know what a thesis statement is! But, I need help writing one. Any good tips?
More specifically, I want help with a clever opening.
All the thesis statements I have read so far as typical such as, "The aim of this paper is to . . .,"
I need something to knock their socks off!

At least this is the way I see things. Hope it helps. Well, don't repeat "the aim of this paper" just get to the subject and evidentiate "the benefits" right from the start, don't wait around for them to read the whole paper for the final conclusion, just give everything you got from a conclusion point of view in the thesis statement. At least this is the way I see things. Hope it helps.
