I just want to find out who loves what on the social media side of things. Facebook or Twitter , I like them both but I do think Facebook is much better as it as more features like pages , Groups would say games lol But I don't have time to play them besides I'd rather play Xbox than candy crush.
The thing I don't like about Facebook is the chat part yeah you can appear offline but when you don't want anyone to know your online doesn't always work specially if your avoiding someone lol. Is there away around this if anyone knows because few times I turn chat off and someone messaging me and am just ignoring them not that I make a thing of ignoring people am not like that but when its one person who is annoying.

I used to have the same problem as you moneybags82, I would get added into group chats and wouldn't want to be bothered but also would not want to seem rude by leaving and I would just ignore the messages and appear offline. I was showing as being offline but I guess my friends assumed that I would have messenger open at all times and would be there to respond whether it said i was online or not. As long as you don't open the message and you are appearing offline they shouldn't know that you are available. Some people are persistent though and I guess that can be why you feel like the feature is not working. It really depends what I am using the social media site for as to whether or not I prefer Facebook or Twitter. For Twitter I love the fact that so many celebrities use it and you can follow them and keep up to date with the goings on without it being to invasive. I also found Twitter to be good when it comes to advertising, especially if you can hit a hashtag that is popular at the time. With Facebook I prefer that to keep in contact with friends and family, advertising works with Facebook but not as well as it does with Twitter.
