OK so I've only really paid attention to my keyword rankings and how much traffic I get. I have not really paid too much attention to domain authority or anything else.
Anyway so I got a query from someone interested in my service for publishing a guest post on my website and he wanted to know my url.
He then came back to me and asked why my Trust Flow is so low when I have such a high following on social networks and a good domain authority?
And I just go goldfish style not knowing how to answer. I have no idea exactly what trust flow is and what impacts it and how so I just took a shot in the dark and said firstly that honestly I'm not sure, it could have something to do with the fact that I closed my online store and made my website just a blog, plus I got rid of my wholesale store which was a sub-domain and that sub-domain had very good stats...
So can anyone please tell me:
1. What is Trust Flow?
2. What impacts Trust Flow?
3. How can I actively take steps to improve my Trust Flow?
4. How important is Trust Flow?
I am looking forward to learning more about Trust Flow so I welcome all answers that can help me with this!

It's kind of self explanatory, more backlinks = better citation flow, more quality backlinks = better trust flow.

Trust Flow predicts how trustworthy a URL will be. This is interpreted based on a backlinks nearness to the trusted and aged domains. The links that come from trusted websites are more dependable when compared to links that come from un trustable domains.[/*]
Citation Flow means the popularity of a link on a website regardless of the quality of these links.[/*]
It's kind of self explanatory, more backlinks = better citation flow, more quality backlinks = better trust flow.
