Using An Article Translator Freelancers to Translate Your Services? Any Tips or Recommendations?

Hi all! I'm thinking of translating some of my services from English to other languages. I know now what some of the top visited countries to my profile are. Mostly the top English speaking countries that visit my profile are USA and UK and Canada. But other top non English speaking countries include India, Indonesia, Pakistan, Germany, Austria and France. So I'm thinking to get some of my services translated to one or some of these languages.

I could do it myself by using Google Translate, but I always find when translating something from another language to English, it's kind of, broken. If you know what I mean? Basically, it's much better if you can get someone that actually speak that other language fluently, to translate it for you so they can know all the idioms and the article itself will still make sense without looking like I've been lazy and just ran it through Google translate tool! Using An Article Translator Freelancers to Translate Your Services? Any Tips or Recommendations?

So I'm just wondering, has anyone here ever used an article translator on here to do such as that? And if so, is there anyone in particular you can recommend to me?

How can I know, after they have translated it, if they have done a good job or not? Hire someone else to proof read it in their language? How will I be able to know they have actually translated it by hand and not just ran it through some translation tool?

What sort of things should I look out for? I see some services say they can translate anything to any language. But how can they do this if they don't speak those languages? They must be using some translation tool right?

I guess the best thing for me to do here, would be to create a WTB and state what it is I need doing, what languages I need each of my services translated to and try to find someone who can actually speak/talk and write in those languages right?

Otherwise what's the best way to go about this?

Cheers!

Mike.

I've been looking to do something similar. I've been trying to find credible people who are at least bilingual so they can post on forums that I can't. This will get me more sales through my website since it auto translates based on the users IP address Using An Article Translator Freelancers to Translate Your Services? Any Tips or Recommendations? And if I were to do this, I would need to get something written in the native language of the forum in order to have it work well. And this is where my needs are similar to yours, because I need someone to translate my advertisements into a different language and then post it to forums in that specific language Using An Article Translator Freelancers to Translate Your Services? I have yet to find anyone that makes me say "Hell Yeah! You're Hired!". I'm usually saying "I probably shouldn't pay this guy!" because everyone that contacts me is talking about how they can post on ENGLISH forums. I mean, I can do that myself, why would I pay someone who's first language isn't English? lol. And why would I pay someone who isn't a native English speaker to post on English forums and websites lol. I can manage all my posts on these types of forums and websites, but I can't do it on anything that isn't in English.

As for what you need Using An Article Translator Freelancers to Translate Your Services? Any Tips or Recommendations? I don't think google translate would be the best idea since, like you said, it might look wrong to the person who is reading it in a different language other than English. I thought of the same thing, but one of my friends read over one of my posts and said it looked like a foreigner typed it up while having a heart attack :'( So yeah, not more Google translate for my translating of something to do with advertising my own websites lol Using An Article Translator Freelancers to Translate Your Services? I've never tried the article translating section, maybe I should take a peak over there and see if someone can do the job I need done Using An Article Translator Freelancers to Translate Your Services? Any Tips or Recommendations?

As for a WTB, that's what I did when I was getting people who wanted to post on English forums and websites even though I asked them to post on something that WAS NOT IN ENGLISH :'(

I have heard terrible things about Google Translate and I would seriously not recommend it. Besides how can software really translate something in an appealing way and still keep the original meaning?

No Mike, you need to ask someone to do this for you! I have no experience hiring a translator but I would love to know how it works for you. I was thinking maybe one day of getting my eBook translated to other languages. How cool would that be right?

Surely you can find a service here or create a WTB?

I think that that would be a good move as you are likely to show such prospective clients that despite the language differences you are willing to go an extra step to reach out to them and reduce the barriers in communication. Since you have the advantage of knowing where they are from, I think it would be a good idea to spend a few dollars in hiring a translator. In time you will recoup the costs. Do not use google translate as the result will not be that good and it may actually reduce your credibility and professional look.

You have a couple of options here:

1. Hire a freelancer that you can actually trust and has a lot of positive reviews, chances are he/her will deliver quality stuff.
2. Hire a decent freelancer and run the text through Google Translate to make sure it says basically the same thing or delivers the same message, you can't be sure how grammatically correct the text is but at least you send the right message.
3. Hire one freelancer for the translation and another one for proofreading, I can imagine it will be double the cost.

If we are talking about simple services without to much text this is going to be pretty easy for most people, just find freelancers that have the right country flag you need.

You can't use Google translate because the output would not be even close to decent. It would be harmful to your service and to your reputation. It's best to stick to the languages your adept with, that way you can't go wrong.

There's no accurate article translator yet. The ones out are not reliable and can only translate 50-60 percent of the content correctly. The best thing to do is to hire someone who's an expert in English and of the other languages you need it translated to.
