I am really getting frustrated with this situation. Basically my laptop decides not to remain connected to the internet, and I have to restart it every time in order to get back online. I tried settings, turning off wifi and all for nothing. The connection is available, but it just does not connect to it unless I restart it. I thought it was something wrong with the modem, but then I realized that my phone and tablet remain connected without any problem. So it must be something wrong with my laptop! I cannot stand the fact that it is happening daily, sometimes even more than once! Any ideas what it could be or what I might do please? Thanks!

Is your wiring bad in your house, or in the room that your modem is located in? Last time, I had to get one of the technicians to reroute a wire to a different port, and then stream the wire literally across the house. This was the only option for me, and it looked bad but the internet stopped going out.
Another option you may want to try is to make sure your wifi drivers are updated. If you're using Windows 10, try to see if there is a connection problem with the type of laptop you're using. Some wifi drivers from my own experience, are either too old, or too "new" for some systems, so no matter how many times you update, or reset the modem the problem won't fix itself. Now, another option to do is replace the wifi adapter, or try another one and see if that helps some. This occurs to me a lot, especially when the wifi attempts to automatically connect to a wifi connection. Sometimes it doesn't connect at all and I have to contact my Internet Service Provider so they can reset the entire system from their end. Nothing I tried works, so you may have the same problem as me, bad wiring. Is your wiring bad in your house, or in the room that your modem is located in?
