This past weekend I have had various things to see to - it seems that everything went wrong, one thing after another. On Friday I had to be present for my family as they were going through a difficult moment. On Saturday, as tired as I was I had to face an emergency situation at home which involved a lot of clean up, worrying, several calls, and problems with the neighbors too. I am truly exhausted and have ended up not even glancing at what I was supposed to do in terms of orders. In such situations, do you manage to continue working? Or do you just stop like me because of tiredness and the inability to concentrate. I am feeling so downcast and really hope to recover soon!

It really depends on my state of mind and physical health at the time in addition to severity of the challenges I am faced with.
My advice is to just to try and focus on your family and your health first and foremost. If you continue to push yourself it can only end up worse in my experience.
I can only speak for myself. I am bipolar and I am a recovering alcoholic and drug addict. I am clean and in recovery so I am not like a raging problem right now. My concern for myself is that I cannot forget about my problems and I need to always put my mental health first in everything.
If I don't do that I could be faced with serious problems. I could relapse and then what happens to my little family, my marriage and my work. So I put myself first in all things all the time. This is not selfish, it is common sense.
In the same way if you don't put yourself first your health and family will pay the price.
If you can't cope with getting orders out then quickly ask for extensions for orders that are in the pipeline. What people do with that is out of your control.
Be kind to yourself and I really hope that you feel better soon.
