How to start selling website traffic for profits.
I know that we've all seen those websites, or services, that are selling 10,000 to 1,000,000 website visitors for pretty cheap and wonder "How the hell are they offering that?!?!?!" Well, some of us are wondering that while a lot of us already know that the traffic is fake and simply something to bump up your numbers. These traffic packages have no value to you if you're trying to make money from your traffic. If you're trying to sell ad space you can make some money, but I'm not here to talk about that right now
To set up a traffic selling service you will need a few things.
- A hitleap account (preferably a premium one)
- Access to Multiple IP addresses
- Time (sort of)
Setting up a hitleap account is free for everyone unless you want to set up a premium account. But even then you aren't going to have to pay much. The premium accounts allow you to have more sessions running at once and the ability to add more websites to send traffic to.
Now a premium account is only $8 and it comes with some pretty nice upgrades. Look at the image below for more info.
Now you'll need a premium account for this to work because you'll need the ability to enter where your traffic is coming from. An example of this would be if you sold traffic coming from Google, Yahoo! and Bing you would need the premium option that allows you to set the referrer. This will disguise where the traffic is actually coming from.
Now the main thing you'll need to do is purchase more slots on your viewer. This is where your IP addresses come into play because you can use 1 IP address per viewer and run them all at the same time and compile all your point into one account. This will basically allow you to run the entire back end of your traffic package service.
If you don't have some dedicated IP addresses you'll need to get some. You can probably get them for $1 to $5 a month, which is a fairly good price.
Now let's say you ant to have 50 slots total and you need 50 IP addresses. If you're paying $1 per IP address that would be $50 a month plus the $39 for 50 extra slots on your hitleap account and another $8 a month for your premium account. So right now you're at $97 invested and you haven't made a single sale.
After you set everything up, go ahead and start selling your traffic services even if you don't have the points yet. If you get a flood of sales you can always buy hitleap accounts for fairly cheap and use those until your account is built up.
Let's say you're getting 1 point per IP per minute. That would be 50 points a minute, 3,000 points, 72,000 points per day or 2,160,000 points per month (if the month is 30 days long). Realistically you can obtain a lot more points per month with this type of set up because not every website will be set to a 1 minute view time. You'll most likely be able to get closer to 5,000,000 points
Now let's say you sell your traffic packages at $1 per 1,000 visitors. That would be a possibility of $2,160 a month if you were to get 2,160,000 points and sell all your traffic. But the trick is to get people to sign up for monthly subscriptions, which could be difficult.
