As a Freelancer EVERYTHING is for sale what do you think?

I personally as a freelancer try and make money anyway possible, as long as its legal of course. That is how the phrase "Everything Is For Sale" came about. What i want to know is if i am the only one who is like this. Do you guys try and diversify your income in many ways? My wife picked up books today to resell in her mind when things get bad buy and sell. I will do or resell almost any SEO service available on the planet and i will find you the best price! Is this the mentality it takes to be a freelancer? I blog on seoclerks, i run a Bitcoin mining operation, and i resell MANY SEO services here on seoclerks. My wife picks things up at yard sales and sometimes doubles her money. I want to hear some of your guys opinions on this maybe share some of the ways you make money don't have to say how much or speak in details but just to give an idea. As always Thank You for reading and hope to hear from you soon.

Makes sense and i guess im pretty desperate in your eyes but where im from we call it "Hunger". I do alot of the services i offer myself some are outsourced the reason i do alot or "everything" is because over the years people have been asking me to offer certain services and i do to make them happy. The main thing i have going for me is my customer service its unmatched! Thats the reason why people ask me to offer a certain service they don't care whether i do it myself or im reselling it because they rather deal with me. I agree with your point though and i have cleared the clutter by deleting alot of my services. I find that my orders are easier to manage.

If "everything" is a for sale as a freelancer than that is one desperate freelancer. You need create limits on yourself or find a niche that best suits you. If you "sell everything", and by that I mean literally try to sell anything you can think of, it could come across as cheap and unprofessional. I use to be the same way when i was starting out. I use to think "hey, if people are buying my services, i could potentially sell anything and they'll buy it." But this isn't how it really works.

People buy things that they either can't do themselves, or would rather pay someone else to do it for them. This is why freelancers exist. If everyone did everything themselves the freelancers would probably have to find a 9 to 5 and conform to that.

That's what I call passion, you are just a passionate freelancer that loves what he is doing. Trust me if you always think about how to turn a profit around from every little simple and daily thing, then you are passionate and you need to keep it up!

Some smart guy told me once not to keep all my eggs in one basket. So I have my job as a navigator, i do / did some jobs here on seoclerks, i am currently posting here and from time to time I do some maintenance for a small network. I never thought about doing a yard sale, probably because they are not so popular around my place. In fact, I don't think I saw any, probably we are too proud to sell our used stuff and we throw them away for free.

Anyhow, how is working with the Bitcoin mining?

Listen dont throw anything away send it to me lol! I have got 3 kids to feed its so sad to hear that good money is being tossed, i need to move near you hahahaha! Bitcoin mining is going great man we are about to buy 5 more S9's and have a total Hashrate of about 165TH. My electric is cheap so its working out well. Let me know if you want to invest we can house and maintain any machines you purchase for a small %.

Well I think in a lot of ways yes you are right about that. Like for example I got contacted here to provide some services. I didn't then go and say no sorry I am not a seller here, I went and created those services.

I think the thing though is to know where your limitations are and where your talents lie and make use of those. If someone asked me ot do something and I have no idea how to do that, and I can't refer to someone I trust that can do the service I will decline to do that job. Likewise I won't accept just any payment. If the return is not good enough I will say no.

I don't see the point in selling myself short because yes money is money, but time is also valuable. I would rather earn less and have more time to play with my kids.

Yes i agree with you, "we only have so many bullets in our gun". Which is why you build a team of people you can trust who have different strengths. Outsourcing can allow you to do so much more business. I use to work less and spend more time with my family but times are rough and i am the only provider. Its sad that in this world you have to sacrifice time with your family to feed them. Multiple streams of income is so much more important now than it was 10 years ago.

Yes I can see how having a team of people would be beneficial and I hope to one day do that, instead it is just me.. so right now I can't do anything and everything that comes my way. I have to be picky and choosy otherwise I will come short with time and energy. If I put too much effort into something that doesn't pay me I won't be able to focus on the things that do pay!

I am starting to find that affiliate marketing is really starting to pay.

Freelancing can offer you a myriad of opportunities, and sometimes you do not need to have very specialized skills to make money online. I feel that it is more about being committed and hardworking at the end of the day. I personally write articles. This is where I started. Eventually I started to take up web content projects, as well as rewriting and proofreading as there is a big market for sites that are poorly written. Many site owners are not native english speakers and so rewriting, or writing from scratch is often required. Product descriptions is another service area for writers.

I think you're on to something here actually. I wouldn't go that far so I would sell my T-shirts or my underwear, even if that would be possible online and as a freelancer.. - But in general, it's a cool way to see things. - Most of the things we see online can be an extra income stream. Most of the things could be a source of income in one way or another. - The only thing to find out, is how to grab a piece of the pie.

I've sold domains at one point. - Offline.
I basically called different small business owners and told them that they could be found easier online with several domain names, which would obviously bring them more clients or at least potential customers. If they had www.ihaveasmallbusiness.com, I pitched them the benefits of having .se, .net and .org etc.

When the business owners agreed, I bought all the necessary domain names from godaddy or equivalent and sent them an invoice. I always increased the price of anything between 200%-500%. Note that I don't do this nowadays, even if I could. - And no, I don't see this as a scam or anything like that. I told my clients how I'd get the domains and why I believed it could be a good way to increase their sales. - And they where to lazy to buy these themselves, so I got some extra money in my pockets for doing it.

I think domain flipping is great i just have no clue on how to get into it or else i would do that too. We are all hustlers in the sense that if we see something at a good price and we think we can resell it then we go for it. Thank you for taking the time to respond i appreciate you.

Hi jkeyz2 thanks for nice sharing. As a professional, I think everybody try to make money as he gets chance or opportunity. Thinking as professional money maker as a business man/women. Freelancer profession nothing different on that sense. I am a freelancer on SEOclerks and at this same time, I have computer accessories shop to sell direct customer. So, as a professional business man, I am always thinking earning money anyhow. Because, it is my business as freelance or seated business. When you thinking, your all business online based, as freelancer or business man/women you should try to make money whatever you get chance. So, why not freelancer thinking everything as business and make money by online?

I am a part time freelancer and even if I become full time in freelancing, I don’t think I will have that attitude of everything is for sale. I understand that if a freelancer has a family to feed, it is natural to bite on anything just to earn money when hard times come. But I agree to have a diversified business interests just like the concept of not putting all your eggs in one basket.
