    Any tips and tricks for using Instagram?

    Ok so I have now finally downloaded the Instagram app to my mobile phone. There have just been too many people over the last few months saying that Instagram rocks and that it is great for getting traffic to your website.

    I have not done anything other than download the Instagram app... I was hoping that before I start fiddling around the social media experts here can give me some tips and tricks on how to use Instagram!

    So how does Instagram work and does anyone have any cool tricks that I can use to maximize my efforts?

    Yes this is a GREAT Question. I think if your suing Instagram to promote your business or services its a great tool for that for sure! First thing i would do is make sure you have a picture and make sure your bio or profile is 100% Completed. Follow a few famous people maybe even a few people who are "Instagram Famous" and upload your first video, make sure you tag people! Make sure you use plenty of hashtags. Memes are a great way also because they are popular and people will follow you for posting memes, make sure you photoshop your username in the memes. Try and get on Instarams "Featured List" or "Suggested Followers List" You can easily get thousands of REAL new followers every day by getting featured.

    Thanks Jkeyz2 Any tips and tricks for using Instagram? Yes that is a great place to start - get my profile up and completed. I will start there and just follow some people for now.

    You know what? Sometimes I am just so resistant to change and I don't want to get to know new things just because it is out of my comfort zone LOL. I have been resisting this.

    No problem at all! Change is always good unless you have to change for a negative reason, BUT change always for me means growth so salute to you and hopefully everything goes well with your Instgram venture.

    LOL yes change always means growth.. I have also found that to be true even when it has been negative. After the shit has hit the fan and I have had to change things it always works out better in the end. Honestly! So even the bad change I find exciting in a way.

    Yes I can feel this needs to be done. Mike has been mentioning Instagram all over, it is like the universe is pushing me into it. I had this same experience with Youtube and that worked out well for me so I am sure this will too.

    You mentioned videos? So I can also post videos directly to Instagram or do you mean I can share my Youtube videos on Instagram?

    For instagram marketing you need to constantly update your account,a lot of people love to follow account that is vibrant and alive.You'll be shocked at the number of followers a day when you constantly post interesting stuff.

    You know life can be boring offline so people rely much on online stuff,so you can capture with your interesting post while taking the advantage to advertise whatever you have.

    The major tip that anyone willing to pull in some Instagram followers should do is to always take pictures wearing nice outfits and looking charming in a way that the followers must be meant to comment positively about it. Also taking those photos on backgrounds that looks nice is a boost for it will show that person as someone living a good life. So, if you really want to become quite active and getting people to like your Instagram post, then starting taking nice pictures.

    I have tested Instagram to see how it operates as a social media network. Just like Facebook, Instagram is for connection to people. But unlike Facebook which handles almost anything, Instagram is mostly for the pictures and videos that you post and the caption is just a garnishing. It looks like Instagram is basic compared to Facebook. In getting followers, the same principle applies that you have to post interesting photos for the readers to appreciate.
