Feature Request: Ability To Block Problem Buyers

I've had a few buyers who were obviously either scamming me for free stuff or were just completely obnoxious and gave me unwarranted hostility.

This doesn't happen a LOT, but I've had two buyers in the past two days really work me over. I'm an honest seller and would really rather avoid these toxic people in the future. I don't want to do business with them, ever again. I don't want their money. I just want them to stay away from me.

I'd love the ability to block a buyer from purchasing from me again after a really bad experience - without bothering customer support about it. Just a BLOCK THIS BUYER button would be great.

Have you had awful experiences with buyers that made you wish you could block them? What did you do about it? Did you feel comfortable taking it to help desk, or did you feel like it wasn't something you should bother them about?

Oh yeah! I had my share of bad buyers in the past. I always told them after "Please never order from me again!"

Thing is, I usually forget their usernames after a few months, or even years and maybe they also forget they had a "bad" experience with me, so it happened a few times now, for past bad buyers to place a second order months or years later! Some are cool and I don't have a second problem with them, but apparently some clients just want to profit as much as they can and make the seller's life miserable.

So yeah, I fully agree, a block feature will be very nice, think about it, at some level, we as sellers, have the right to choose our clients.

If you wish is granted by the seoclerks staff, then, they will have to create so many BLOCK BUTTON for every buyer or any new person who signs up and install the BUTTON in every seoclerks user settings. That will cost so much time and effort and even reosurces and finance. Though i have never experience any troublesome buyer before, but if you encounter on, all you need do is to just REPORT him to seoclerks admin and they will take care of everything else because i feel very comfortable with the admin that they can handle the issue well. if the buyer is the type that registers with another name to come trouble you after his account has been banned, the admin can find a way out by somehow blocking his IP ADDRESS or his his computer from assessing the seoclerks website. just report to the admin and be rest assured that all will be well

The code wouldn't really be hard to program, in fact it'll take probably 30 minutes to add. However, it's not really good to block in terms of business. If you ever have any issues it's recommended that you contact support to get the issues rectified.

Oh man I am sorry you are having this problem. I don't sell here but I know exactly the type of person you are talking about since I had an online store and I also sold goods wholesale. There were a few occasions over the years where I just told someone straight off that I don't want to do business with them.

I think Everett is right though, perhaps even though it is a pain it is best to contact support about it.The staff do need to know if there are buyers that appear to be scammers, this is vital to helping others too.

Regarding the rude people, maybe just ask support what you can do about this. I also don't like dealing with rude people!
