A lot of people struggle to keep up with social media when their websites begin to get popular. But I'm here to let you know that it's ok and you can work one day on your social media per month if you want
How can you reduce your headaches with social media? You can use something called HootSuite to automate a lot of your work.
What HootSuite does is help you schedule posts, respond to comments or questions, gives you analytics on everything and lets you reduce the time spent on social media so you can focus on bigger tasks.
HootSuite has a few different membership levels ranging from Free to Enterprise. Free being the lowest one and only allowing you to manage 3 social profiles with limited analytics and Enterprise being the membership level that has all the bells and whistles.
The Pro plan is what the majority of users will get because it has plenty of features to help with everything you need on social media platforms. And the price may be the biggest seller since it's only $9.99 a month. The only downside to the pricing is that it's billed annually. But you get a free 30 day trial to make sure you like it before you actually pay anything
The Business plan comes with a few extras like social campaign templates, a social media certification to show your potential clients, and the ability to use vanity URLs to show people what you links are about before they click through. I'm not sure of the pricing on the business plan because I haven't tested it out, but I would assume it's between $19.99 and $29.99 a month which would also be billed annually, most likely.
After testing out the pro membership level for a couple weeks I've come to the conclusion that HootSuite is pretty awesome and I will probably go ahead and pay the $9.99 a month (billed annually)
So go check it out if you want to help automate your social profiles and keep users engaged. You literally have nothing to lose because there is a free 30 day trial

However before you go and check them out I suggest you have a look at Mass Planner too. They are $9.95 per month and you can connect 2 profiles per social network (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, Google Plus, Pinterest and Instagram).
The only thing that I am not so keen on with Mass Planner is that it is software that I download to my computer on all the time and connected to the internet, whereas Buffer and Hootsuite are online. I much prefer online tools to downloadable software!
But Mass Planner is much more powerful and useful to me. It can find groups and join them, plus send out marketing campaigns to a large number of groups at a time.
On top of this I can add multiple campaigns and multiple distribution lists to suit my needs. One of the things I like the most is the fact that I can set my posts to be added back into the list in my campaign meaning that I don't have to spend another day adding my content in next month! All I have to do when I create new content is add it into the relevant campaign to be sent out forever!
Check it out, they do have a 5 day free trial. It is a pain in the ass to set up at first, but well worth the effort! Thanks Razzy for sharing this great tool! I used Buffer for a good few years and it seems to me that Hootsuite and Buffer are very similar in what they offer and their pricing.
