Using a Website Tester on your Website?

I am just wondering whether anyone here has ever used website testing services to check how users interact with your websites?

I am referring to when real people get paid to use your website and to perform tasks that you have set out for them.

Their screen gets recorded while they do this and so do their faces. They also have to speak continuously about their experience while performing these tasks.

I have heard that users know within the first minute whether they are going to stay on your website a little longer or not and this seems like it could be a very valuable way to really see how people react to your website.

I have never used these services before but I have been a user tester and been paid for that, so I am interested to know what the thoughts and experiences are from the other side.

I have been thinking about maybe using these types of services on my websites.
