How to stop someone from sending you bad messages?

Sometimes someone sends you message to inbox that has nothing to do with business you offer or asked or accuse you of something very rudely. What's to be done with those people? Can you not block them?

As procoder already stated, you should report these people. Especially if you haven't asked someone to contact you and just randomly get spam. Report those as there's no option to block a person.

However, in your inbox, you can mark your messages as "read", "unread", "important" and "archive". That's at least one option you have to make them "vanish" from your inbox.

Hi sanfora thanks for your question. It is very common that somebody misused SEOclerks message system. I got many user they offer private contact number or address. And somebody offer to join some website, which something like that SEOclerks. So, such type of activity really illegal and break to TOS of SEOclerks. If you see something like that, you can report to staffs immediately. You may see report button on particular message. Just click on this button, it should be going to report as abused. Or, you can contact with help desk regarding that user. I am sure they will take necessary steps against them.

If you feel that you are being harassed, just click on the Report option, or contact support. It is better then replying back to him as it might get worse. There is unfortunately no option to block a user from contacting you. I wish it is added as sometimes you just do not want to deal with these kinds of people.

I'm not so certain why a feature to block people from sending you messages doesn't exist, but I believe it should. The penalty from contacting a member when the support team tells them not to is banning of the account in serious cases or disabling the use of the messaging system. We could limit these tickets to the support team if a solution to block the user from contacting another user was implemented.

This would probably be used, however in the negative aspect of things this could result in low sales, and other unforeseen problems. For those of you that request this feature, it may not happen. You'll just have to report the user as you normally would, and submit a ticket to the support team so they can go over the user's messages, and if they violate the Terms of Service than the user could be blocked from sending messages altogether.

However, as there are hundreds of thousands of people on the marketplace and there are a select few of those hundreds of thousands of people whom don't care and violate the Terms of Service. So the issue is not very common, so be assured that things will be solved if this does happen to you.

TIP: If you are being harassed, being sent spam, etc NEVER reply to the message.

I am starting to receive a lot of spam from sellers that I have never had any contact with. I never reply , I just click on the report option there and say that it is spam.

I'm sure you can do the same.
