Should I Pay For SEO Hourly?

If you have ever looked on the market place you will know that the amount of SEO related services on offer is a lot, and I mean a lot! I am always on the lookout for ways to save money and today I spotted a person on a site offering SEO work on an hourly rate. This is something completely new to me and it really got me thinking. In the past have any of you every tried hiring a worker related to SEO on an hourly or daily rate? Personally I think this would allow you to get better results as you could set them say a bonus for achieving certain results. If you think this is a good idea what results would you expect to see in an hour and what would be a reasonable rate?

Hm.. I have seen some people offering hourly rates, however it was not like $10/hour, for an hours time. It came out to be like $2000, because they would be working hourly until the project was done. You can try to get hire someone for an hourly rate but I wouldn't do it because you have no way of knowing if they are wasting your time and/or money. Even if they provide results, how would you determine how much SEO work equals an hourly pay based upon the hourly work proof? I would still stick to SEO services that have a price, other than going for the services that are hourly.

Oh no, I would never hire someone online per hour. I like paying a set amount per job so I know exactly what I am receiving for my money. If I am paying per hour I feel that I am losing control over my money and I have no idea what I will be getting or how long it will take.
