When it comes to quality content I'm not shy in sharing other people's work, especially people I admire.
It's a great way to create good quality content, don't be greedy and reluctant to link to other people in your content, it can actually improve your ranks but the best thing about this technique is that you can contact them and let them know you gave them a shutout.
They will be very grateful for this and you will probably get a backlink in return at some point. Or maybe they'll just share your article on their personal social media accounts, like twitter or facebook. So either way, traffic from social media exposure or backlinks, you win.
Have any of you tried this technique? I find it way more productive than guest blogging.

I have to spend more time doing this, I just find my time very limited lately! Yes I have found that linking to someone else's content and letting them know about it will at the very least get a social share from them. I have to spend more time doing this, I just find my time very limited lately!
