I’m using computers since I was 9 years old, and I’ve never used any screen protector to protect my eyes while using it, because I never faced any problem with them. However, I know that this might be something useful, especially when you're working all day on your computer. I’m working full time, and at least 16h/day.. Just wonder if you are using those screen protectors, and are they helping you to do your job ??

Is the sole purpose of a screen protector to just block some kind of harmful ray coming off your screen? Or is it to lower the light level of your screen so your eyes aren't being bombarded with light for hours upon hours? If it's the ladder, than I could just reduce the brightness of my screen in my settings
Do you think I could just wear my UV blocking sunglasses and I'll be good to go? They work for the sun, can they work for a computer too?
Are there screen protectors that are used for preventing scratches and damage to the screen? I would probably get one of those if they were priced right. I have 2 scratches in my screen and they annoy the hell out of me because they're right in the center I've never used a screen protector and my eyes are just fine.
