Can you please be more specific? Browsers all use different webkits. Here's some information:
WebKit is a layout engine software component for rendering web pages in web browsers. It powers Apple's Safari web browser, and a fork of the project is used by Chromium-based browsers, such as Google Chrome or Opera.

So some sites that are not compatible with a certain browser doesn't support their webkit. For instance, Internet Explorer, IE is being discontinued at some point in the future. Sites will no longer be supporting the browser due to the discontinuation of the browser, however since the webkit is primarily the same it'll still support Edge but any corrections, or bug fixes with the IE webkit won't be supported.

It's also very annoying to make sure that all browsers work for a website, and I haven't heard of any websites not supporting Mozilla Firefox. Firefox is a huge browser, with a lot of internet users, so most websites would want to be compatible with Firefox.

I use Mozilla Firefox a lot and I haven't had any problems with websites not working. I use Chrome often too. The only problems I have encountered is some really old sites like our SARS website that will only work properly with Explorer... go figure? LOL

Well that SARS website won't be compatible after microsoft decided to completely discontinue support. Hopefully the Edge browser would still be able to render the SARS website. I wonder why it only works with Internet Explorer. Whomever designed that website probably wasn't great at designing sites anyway. Lol.

LOL South Africa isn't exactly a first world country Everett. Last year we went without electricity for a few hours every day during winter... and you think having our SARS website outdated is a problem! You should try living here, some things are so bad you can only laugh about it... well either that or cry right? Why don

Well it depends with the type of message you get. Does the site load but does not work properly? Or does it not load at all?
You could try to clear the Firefox cookies and cache, or if the problem persists, there is more information available in this link, which should help you sort out this problem -

Having said that, it is not just about Firefox you know. I have encountered some sites that cannot load in Chrome, which is the browser that I generally use. I guess it probably has to do with the actual site, not with the browser you use.

I think we are experiencing the opposite with the browsers in our home desktop. It is running on Windows XP and the Chrome was asking for an update. However, there is a note that the new Chrome version does not work in Windows XP. In other words, our Chrome is an old version. There are some websites that do not run in Chrome. The error message is about security that it cannot be sure if that is the website or an impostor. But when we use Firefox, that website with an https prefix runs all right.
