So some sites that are not compatible with a certain browser doesn't support their webkit. For instance, Internet Explorer, IE is being discontinued at some point in the future. Sites will no longer be supporting the browser due to the discontinuation of the browser, however since the webkit is primarily the same it'll still support Edge but any corrections, or bug fixes with the IE webkit won't be supported.
It's also very annoying to make sure that all browsers work for a website, and I haven't heard of any websites not supporting Mozilla Firefox. Firefox is a huge browser, with a lot of internet users, so most websites would want to be compatible with Firefox. Can you please be more specific? Browsers all use different webkits. Here's some information:
WebKit is a layout engine software component for rendering web pages in web browsers. It powers Apple's Safari web browser, and a fork of the project is used by Chromium-based browsers, such as Google Chrome or Opera.
So some sites that are not compatible with a certain browser doesn't support their webkit.
