I've been busy on Youtube and I am ready to take the next step to making more professional videos.
I don't want to spend a huge amount of money to start. What route would be recommended for editing videos?
Painless, easy and quick options. I am not good at technical stuff and I don't want to battle and fight for hours to edit a video.
Possibly a better option would be for me to pay someone else to edit my videos but I am worried the price might be way too high? Also I don't like waiting. I am a very impatient person.
Any advice?

And, for myself, I need to know how to edit a tiny clip out of a longer video - for instance, sometimes I find a good Matt Cutts video that has only a tiny portion that I want to use, link to. I want to edit just one comment out and make that into a new video. That is only an example, mostly this would be for my own content though. I want to know the answer to this question too as my daughter is making her own gameplay videos now for WolfQuest and Minecraft and assorted Steam games and she is learning as she goes about how to edit. I have tried to show her the Youtube options for editing, but not being as familiar with those, I can't be of much assistance on that. Mostly though, I want her to be able to edit out little 'mistakes' or edit in tiny clips and fun things that her viewers might like to see.
