What's the best photo snipper software?

I'd like to snip some images off a webpage, without having to use the PRINT SCREEN function which only captures the entire screen. I just want a tiny portion of a page. Please recommend a good free or cheap photo snipper service or software.

Have you tried Snip It, the extension for Internet Explorer?

SnipIT can be used to e-mail the selected text in Internet Explorer using the user's e-mail client of choice. The add-on currently supports Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Hotmail, Yahoo Mail, Gmail and default installed MailTo client in Internet Explorer as e-mail client options.

I like the puush site online. They let you download and install a software device that snips parts of a page or the entire page, depending on the key combo that you press. The image is stored online (100 MB free) and also on your hard drive, if you want.

Can you hotlink to these photos? Just thinking this could be a really good way to find images for your blog.

I don't think you can hotlink to the images. However, you can take the page URL to a site like tinypic and upload from online. And, then hotlink to the image provided.
