How long after exipry does the domain stay mine?

I have a domain on my 123-Reg account and it has expired on the 5th of last month, but it is still in my account. I no longer want this domain and want it to fully expire. How long will it stay in my account and say to me to renew it?

It depends on the registrar, as they try to keep it in your account in hopes you will eventually renew it and give them more money, but the maximum is generally 45-60 days, before being released to the public.

It depends on the domain registrar from which you have register domain name. But basically it will takes 45 days to 60 days to come domain as available in the market.

It depends on the extension as well as registrar. Usually you can claim your a dot com after 27 days expiry period. After that it will be gone. Some registrars will allow you to claim your domain by paying penalty charges even after two months.
