Have you ever purchased an aged domain name?

Is it good to purchase an older/aged domain name? If so, how do you find good aged domain names for purchase? And, what company do you use to make buy or sell the domain names?

I've read that an aged domain is actually better for SEO. Google takes older domains seriously versus the newly created ones. This involves the 'sandbox' effect where newer domains/sites are placed in the sandbox until they prove themselves. The 'sandbox' was a big concern of webmasters some years back. Though i'm not sure if the sandbox still exists.
