What if you can't find backlinks for your site?

I've been advertising my newest blog for awhile but still can't find many backlinks for my site. Where are all the backlinks from the sites where I've been posting my links?

Are these links not physically on the sites anymore? Or, you just can't find them via Google search?

Have you been backlinking for more than a month? It takes awhile for Google to show your most recent links in searches. So just be patient.

If you have only recently posted the links, it will take awhile for the backlinks to be reflected in Google search. Until then, you should keep track of where you have posted and then move on to other sites where you are allowed backlinks.

Maybe the blogger took down the comments. This can happen if a blogger protests your leaving a link with your comment.

I don't include a link in the blog comment box. Only in the website url box. Still, sometimes, my blog comments are published without the link. Why does this happen?

Sometimes, they just don't want too many out bound links on one page and will arbitrarily delete all links on a blog post but keep the comment as that new content will serve them very well.

If they are going to leave the comment section open, at least they could be fair to the person who took time to read their article and allow the back link.

If you've posted it in a site and you can't find it anymore after visiting the site again then that means the site owner took it down.
If that's the case, it means your backlinks are not welcome there. it's best to properly pick a good site and be sure that your backlinks are done correctly.
