Issues with keyword searching

Have you had any issues with keyword searching? Often times I have found that keywords that I type in are irrelevant to a search I am doing. I know that this has happened to you. How do you refine your search then?

When this happens you should get more specific. Narrow your search phrase or think of alternative ways to say what you are searching for.

I agree with Robertman. Sometimes it helps to think outside of the box for me.

Google is very inclusive with it's search results. So if you only use one or two words on a search, you are likely to get a billion results returned. The key is to define your search by using a long tail keyword (three or four words or more) or use quote marks around the search term. For instance, "free girl games online" rather than free girl games online. This last search term will product many search results that might not be as targeted as the one in quote marks.
