Federal agents have pulled a Google Glass user out of a theater recently. This happened in Ohio. The reason was the person was suspected of Piracy. No charges were filed after the man was questioned thoroughly.
On January 18, the man and his wife entered the theater to see "Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit". His google glasses are prescription glasses so he wore those into the theater. A federal agent approached them about an hour into the movie. The agent escorted him out of the theater after yanking the google glasses off his face, where 10 cops and mall cops were waiting for him. The man's name is not being released at this time, but both him and his wife were interviewed separately. They did not need to answer questions but it was strongly advised that they do so.
There are mixed feelings on this. AMC says that it is not appropriate for the man to be wearing the google glasses as there could have been video taping going on during the movie.
So what do you think about all this? Did it go a bit over the top with all the cops and the agents that were no the scene? Do you feel that the guy should have been questioned like that? And would you be bold enough to wear your google glasses into a movie theater?

You mentioned how he was wearing these by prescription. Is there some kind of vision benefit to wearing the Google glasses versus a regular prescription eye glasses? Anyway, it was a risky move.
