Article submission - just to one good article site, or to multiple?

I can't understand why someone would submit the same srticle to many article submission sites - sure it adds more links, but doesn't the penalty for duplicate content affect how well those articles perform? Best to submit to only one? Only a small few? Still submit to many?

I think its better to focus on few top sites where submit unique content people like and search for.

I would say there is not a need to submit them to many sites. I think that only a few would work the best.

If you are doing article submission then make sure that your article is unique and you are submitting to top article directories then you are going to get the benefit.

I thought most writing site do not allow duplicate content. The user will be blocked or banned, right? You can share the URL link at social medias but not copy and paste the same article contents at different sites. Nowadays, is there any site that allow duplicate content?

I don't favor submitting the same article on multiple sites. If you want to submit articles on various sites, you should always submit different articles on different sites. Google does not like duplicate content, therefore, if you are submitting the same article on various site, it is very likely that most of your articles will be deindexed from Google. You should always submit unique site to each article submission site.

As a writer, I think it is unethical to submit an article to different sites. The problem would be if the same article is published more than once. It is like cheating the website since it is publishing a duplicate. What more if say 5 websites publish the same article? This is not to be prude but it is safe to submit an article just once. For the next website perhaps you can write another article. And the least you can do is to rehash your first article so it will not turn out to be a duplicate.
