The first thing you need to do is to sign up to Google.
If you have a google account already then simply login to Google Webmaster Tools.

You'll need to add your site then verify it. Follow the prompts and use a meta tag or file to verify the site.

Next step is to submit your sitemap. Do this by going to sitemaps tab and submitting yours.

Leave it for a little while then Google will crawl your site. In a couple of months you will have some information / reports from Google.

*Don't forget your robots file.
