Is YouTube a Choice for Earning Money?

So I am seeing lots of people earning money by just creating YouTube video? Can I do the same? Is it really a good option for earning online?

Well it’s pretty simple. Just the way you can make money for displaying ads on your site if you get ranked, similarly you get paid from YouTube for displaying ads on your channel if you have enough subscribers.

Pretty simple, what’s not simple is “getting ranked, and getting the subscribers”. But once you do, trust me you won’t have to work a day in your life.

It’s like, YouTube is paid a commission, say 25-30$ for every 1000 times a companies ads are displayed on YouTube. Ads? Well, remember seeing those 5-6 seconds commercials before playing a video? Those are the ads.

Now, what YouTube does is, if you have a good Subscribers Base, you can become a Youtube Partner, and Youtube would pay you a % of whatever it earns for those 1000 ad displays.

Say YouTube is paid $30/1000 ad runs, so it’ll pay you 4-5$ of it. You make good videos , get them seen, and make money simple as that.

You tube is a good platform to earn money. If you happen to be from eligible country (youtube does not accept every country on earth), you can easily make money. Since adsense and youtube both are google's products getting approved for adsense is also very easy on youtube. You need 10K views to get started, if you publish good videos, generating 10k views is also not impossible. If you generate views from America and Europe, mostly from the US, Canada, UK and Australia, you will normally earn $1 for 1000 views

Yes, you can earn money by uploading your videos on Youtube provided your videos are yours with no violation of copyrights. That means you cannot use existing songs and don’t capture excerpts from other videos. After uploading your video, click on the monetization button. You have to know how to take video and edit your video. or how to make a video from video recording program and edit those videos. If your video making skill is rudimentary, you may not be able to earn from youtube.

Certainly you can do same and start making money but don't just think about for a start think about creating and giving quality services. Upload valuable and useful videos to drive traffic especially now that one needs 10,000 views to enable monetization on YouTube then you must be patient enough and have passion for.Making money with YouTube isn't easy but it doable but one really need tons of traffic.

Traffic is what you need. However, the traffic you pull for your videos must be quality traffic, by quality traffic I mean the people who actually watch your video. If someone clicks your video but leaves after 10-15 seconds, your view will not be counted and you will not earn money. In order to earn money, your entire video must be watched and your ads need to be clicked.

Our family has a Youtube channel that we had already earned $100 just before the end of last year. Considering that our videos are not viral, that earnings is good enough as passive income. Unfortunately, Youtube came out with a new policy just last February in putting a minimum with the number of subscribers and viewing hours for the Youtube channel to be eligible in the monetization program. That means our videos are not earning anymore because we did not have 1,000 subscribers and the viewing time did not reach 4,000 hours in a year. It is sad for small video makers like us that’s why we are looking for an alternative to Youtube.

YouTube's new policy is aimed at the people who are creating useless contents. However, genuine content creators are also suffering due to the new policy. I have never tried youtube for making money. Video making needs specialized skills, which I do not have. I have a cellphone with 12 mp camera and it takes good quality videos. I also have windows movie maker which I can use to edit videos for youtube. However, apart from posting a couple of videos, I never considered becoming a vlogger.
If you at excluded from earning program because you do not have enough subscribers and view hours, there is no end to earning from youtube. You can market your channel to get more subscribers. If you have genuine subscribers, your viewing hours will also naturally increase.
