What to do when an ad company requires minimum page views?

There's a gaming ad company that I want to join so I can publish their ads on my blog. But there requirement is minimum 5k page views per month and right now, we only have 1k page views. I need more page views soon. Can you please give me ideas on how to increase page views? I'm open to suggestions.

You could offer a free giveaway on your home page and then link to it from Twitter, Facebook, related forums. And, that would create a traffic surge. Most of these sites don't ask why people are coming to your site, only that you have the traffic.

Well, you need a minimum traffic increase of around 4000 views per month, that isn't easy to do legit, you can use blackhat techniques, but again.. that isn't legit and can take some time anyways before you see results.

Can you tell me if the requirement is to have 5000 views per month at the point of you applying to join? or Is the requirement that if at any point after you join your views drop lower than 5000, your no longer allowed to show their ads?

If it is to be that you only need them at the point of you joining and it doesn't matter if they then drop a bit afterwards, then try traffic exchanges, link exchanges, banner advertising, Facebook advertising, etc.. and this will dramatically increase your views.

If it is the second one, where your views must always stay above 5000, then I suggest you put on hold using that company for now and just concentrate on doing search engine optimization and other long term promotion techniques. This way, when the time comes that you have enough visitors / views to your website, you don't have to worry about keeping them coming in as your website will be getting them organically.

A factor you should consider is how strictly the ad company looks at the visitors you receive and the source(s) of them. Try to find out and then if they aren't too strict, you can use easier, quicker techniques, but if they are indeed strict about it, then you know not to use blackhat, etc.. services as it wont help you get approved.

Or, you might consider a manual or auto traffic exchange system where you can surf for traffic credits and have others visit your site in return. This would inflate your daily traffic.

But, if the company forbids bot traffic or you are using Google adsense, then this will be bad idea.

I personally would worry about getting your website to 5k pageviews per month before trying to get their for the soul purpose of ads. At 1,000 pageviews per month and even 5,000 the revenue won't likely be a lot.

Best option if you really do want those ads and fast is to simply buy traffic, certainly less legitimate but depending on their ToS it may be viable.

But, if the company forbids bot traffic or you are using Google adsense, then this will be bad idea.

Just be sure not to use Adsense on pages where you will be surfing as they forbid artificial manipulation of traffic to a site. I'm guessing you have given up on Adsense at this point. For some sites, Adsense is not a real income producer anyway, so it's a moot point.

Maybe you would be better off approaching game bloggers and gaming forum owners directly and offering the advertising space on your site directly rather than running third party ads on your site. This would give you the chance to set your own price and place the ads you want which complement your content, rather than compete with it.

Are you sure this is the only game advertising related site that you could be working with now? There must be other places that will let you in the door without the minimum page views.

do SEO, which takes time to get you result.
social media marketing demands active participation. SEO is a kind of one-time work.
You can increase traffic through social media marketing and SEO.

To increase pageview, you could do the following

Posting interesting things and share it to all the social media platform
Big traffic from freelancing sites
Do some contests and giveaways
You could buy credit package and signup with traffic exchange site.
