What type of affiliate training should you provide?

Some of the best affiliate programs that I have been part of had extensive affiliate training, including affiliate forums; training videos; premade professional graphics library as well as affiliate training seminars. Most of these sites had a dedicated affiliate back office.

Some even went so far as to do group calls with affiliates for one on one coaching. And, I think this type of affiliate training strategy is so much better than simply handing the product to the affiliate and telling them to go to it.
