Permission to sell translated articles? Copyright concern.

Hi all

I want to connect people and helpful information via translating it into other language. Probably because of my false ego I still want to choose what content I will translate myself, not fulfil jobs posted somewhere with deadlines etc (somehow i feel pressured).
If I want to translate article and put the translated version on sale on SEOclerk marketplace, what are implications of this regarding copyright? How to work this out?
Thank you for your knowledge and have an awesome day.

Peace!

This would still be someone else's content, just in another language. Just because the translation makes the words different, another person still took time to create the original version. Technically speaking, it could be copyright infringement.

Seems, you are defeating the spirit of the law by technically changing the words to another language. And, will you tell your buyers that you are selling them duplicate content?

As beverly had stated, you are simply translating and so it would fall under copyright infringement but if you get the authors permission to translate and post it, also providing a link back to the original product then I don't see there being an issue.

When you ask the original author about this matter, keep in mind he or she will probably want a piece of the pie (royalties), which would be rightfully deserved. Permission to sell translated articles? Copyright concern.
