Are you following up with your customers?

You should be following up or messaging your former customers to see if they are interested in another service. You don't know, they might have forgotten about your services and need to be reminded. What if you are leaving money on the table without follow up?

If you can get your customers to sign up to a mailing list or to follow you, then you can more easily communicate with them by posting status updates.

Maybe you could message your customers after the sale is over, like within a few weeks to see if they want to buy another service.

Just depends on where you are working. If you are on SEOClerks, then you only have the option to message others here, not add them to an email list.

I always do followup messages here at SEOClerks. Although I haven't been here for long but due to my consistent bidding on WTB offers of my interest, I have been getting a lot of queries from buyers interested in hiring me.

Even after placing the bid and replying the buyer via inbox messages, I do write a followup message to ask if everything is okay or you would like more clarification.

It also does not hurt to ask the buyer if he is hesitant to order because of higher price.

You can always explain the buyers in detail about the work involved and most of the time they will understand and place an order.

So far got 5 orders and made 8 Affiliate sales in less than 30 days. Not something to brag about but I hope it is the start for something big and a lesson for new clerks Are you following up with your customers?

A little bit of time spent on follow up with a potential customer or former customer can easily convert into more sales for the future. Sellers that complain about not having enough work should take a lesson from that.

I have regular contact with most of the people that I have completed projects for. These people are on my Facebook friends list or people that I know in real life. And whenever someone needs work done, they know where I am.

Keep the contact with the old buyers by message. It is good for us for expectation of more order.

This reminds me of our former business of retailing computer supplies. Aside from the prospecting of new customers, another chore of our office staff is to check the schedule of order of our customers. When the order is due and delayed for 3 days, we should call the customer for a follow up. After a week and still no order, the salesman should drop by the office to check and better if he brings something for the client.
