Why do I have 215 alerts on the SEOClerks forum?

It's been awhile since I was able to come by to update my discussions here and today when I came back, I found that I had 215 notifications or alerts on the SEOClerks forum. I don't really have time to go through all the alerts to see what each one is about. Is there some way to receive fewer notifications about forum matters?

You can disable notifications for forum updates on your forum settings page. That way you won't be notified everytime someone responds to one of your discussions or makes a comment or quotes you on the forum.
