Where do you keep your idea file?

When I'm writing, I always maintain an online file on one of my blogs (set to private) where I keep a list of potential articles/tutorials that I want to write, as well as links to research material and early drafts. This helps me stay organized with my writing projects so that I always have something to work on.

Where/how do you keep your ideas for blogging and writing? How often do you add to it?

I have a note pad extension on Chrome browser that lets me keep track of ideas. And, I jot down my thoughts as the day goes on. If I'm away from my computer, then I will simply write the idea down on a notepad and transfer to my blog later when I'm home.

Sometimes, I create post it notes and stick them to my computer monitor so that I remember what I'm supposed to be working on. This idea works to keep me organized and helps me remember ideas that I was planning to write about.

I do have a notebook that I keep as well for ideas that I would like to write about. I think that this is important to have.

I add to mine every time an idea comes to me. I have a file online that I use, but then I also have a small notebook with me at all times to write down in.

I have a file stored on my computer that I type in ideas on it from time to time.

I also collect ideas, not exactly for my blogs but for allother writing endeavors like forums and article submission sites. One writer
had taught me that method of jotting down an idea that comes to my head. Don’t
wait, write it down at once for after a minute you may forget all about it. My
phone is my notepad but I have a collection pad in my computer where I keep all
the stray ideas that popped up. About half of those ideas were beneficial,
meaning I was able to use them.

I use a book to pen those thoughts down, but with the mind that I can really own a private blog, I think that is what I am going to do at the moment for it will be easier to write it on my personal blog than on a book.
