Why are you using forums?

Forums are fun to hang out on and you can always meet new fun people. But, you can learn lots of fun things there too and share your mind or speak your inner heart anonymously (such as when you don't use your real name). For this reason, I love using forums. What is your reason for being on a forum?

I've only ever used forums for marketing purposes and to make contacts with potential employers. I don't use forums for social reasons.

I started using forums about ten years ago to market my affiliate programs and earned well doing so. It was easy to make contact with people of like minds who needed what I was offering. Then over time, I learned that I could earn money in a variety of ways using forums. Now I use forums for personal as well as business reasons. Though I rarely find a forum where I just want to hang out and not work.

I like being able to share my opinions and discuss with people. This is a way to gain new knowledge. Discussions will make us think and initiate the sharing of knowledge and ideas.

I am into forums to learn and share. Instead of using my spare time in social media to chat about nonsensical things, I would rather go to a more serious place. One of my present concerns now is SEO because I am really confused. First is the importance, why does it look so important as if SEO will make or break the website. Next is the skills needed. And third is the software that can help you with that. For some other matters, I have my own to share so for me, the forum is actually an information exchange.
