Limiting how many times a signature appears on a page

I get annoyed seeing the same big banners on EVERY page of a forum multiple times. As a forum admin, is there a mod or plug that I could use which would allow signature lines to only appear once per page?

Also, big banners slow page load down and should be modified or someone will complain.

Just ensure that images and banners cannot be added to the signature line. Or, delete signature lines that include banners. As you have said, the banners will slow down the page when loading.

I agree that it is annoying when this happens. I am not sure if there is a way to get around it or not, if you can only have it once on a page. However, you could do as Marlin suggested to get around it.

Not only big banners, but also ones which are page length. That is very inappropriate. And, I've seen a few that large on forums.

This reminds me of one forum about workout. The banners and images are as big as 5 lines, I think, and it is annoying if you will be reading shorts comments because what you tend to see is the signature which is large while the comment was just 1 line. I prefer a forum with hidden signature. You can click on the profile name of the commenter anyway and that you can see the signature with just a click.
