Were you ever sorry for something you posted?

Did you ever post something on a forum in anger, maybe like a rant, only to be sorry for it later. But maybe you could not delete the thread?

I don't post in anger. Though, I've seen times when people will get drawn into heated arguments on a forum and feelings will be hurt. I try to stay out of those discussions as they lead to no good end.

Never regretted anything.I post mostly when I'm happy.So no need of posting things that I will later ask myself I did that.

I know what you mean Beverly. Great to have opinions but when they are heated, it often takes a turn for the worse.

I am fortunate to have learned the ins and outs of forums before I joined for a serious membership. When my post would receive a negative remark, I would shrug my shoulders. It's no use to insist my opinion. My attitude in forums is that it's a venue for free expression. If someone disagrees with my opinion then he has a right to say it. But I wouldn't exert an effort for a rebuttal. I am here to enjoy the forum.
