Profile Lock

We now support profile locking which prevents changes to your profile on SEOClerks. This is useful for those of you who want a single account having multiple people working through it (IE: Virtual Assistants, Teams).

Alternatively, if you are concerned about your account being hacked (looking at you, those that have the same password as your username), this option may help further secure your account.

This lock is applied by staff and can only be removed by staff. It disables all fields in the profile area and displays a message at the top indicating the profile is locked.

This is intended for people who have someone else accessing their SEOClerks account.

An example would be say you get 100s of orders and it takes too much time going through them and getting all the information on SEOClerks so you decide to hire a virtual assistant to handle this for you. By adding the profile lock, that virtual assistant cannot change any information on your account and thus becomes completely safe for you to allow them on your account.

Please Make Little Bit Changes On Automatically Remarks Option Jordan. If buyer doesn't accept deliver and the order will be remarks as completed automatically after 5 days then please make automatically THUMBS UP (positive feedback) also because 40% buyer are don't know how to accept deliver with feedback and 30% buyer are not interested to giving any feedback. Please do something on this issue.

This doesn't really have anything to do with profile locking. Nonetheless, why should it be automatically marked as positive and not negative? If you haven't wow'd your buyer enough for them to leave a positive rating, surely it should be automatically a negative, no?

I did not mean it rude, if that is the way you read it. Sorry if it sounded harsh in any way.

We already talked about that in another thread though and I think no-rating (neutral) is the only solution for non-response. You can't force a buyer to mark something positive or negative just because they don't respond and that was the point of my message above.

Please continue to submit ideas for enhancement, that is how SEOClerks grows.

This is a great idea. I worry from time to time about hackers. I have had accounts hacked before and it is no fun at all.

I do not know why are you laughing. If someone hack my account ,its useless. Hacker is not going to deliver my work. But in case of assistant , it may be. Support should include new feature i.e ip address with login. Safe from hacker.


The emitoicon you posted was funny. As though you were wondering about those that use their username as their password (from what you quoted of Jordan). If anyone uses their username as their password... Well, is there any helping them?

They will not deliver your work but they can't cash out. You can contact staff and get your account back without loss of income. Why else would someone hack your account?

So you won't be able to do anything as long as your account is being locked right?
Can you publish new orders?


You can do everything you normally can, except change your profile. IE: someone who takes over your account (say an assistant you hired), can't change your Paypal email address and cash out all of your funds when it is locked. They could only ever cash out to the accounts you have it locked in as.

This is certainly a good feature to have it protected.
So all we need to do is send a support ticket regarding this? So what if it's already locked and I want to change something in my account? Like Paypal address or Email?

You can't. You'll have to send us a support ticket and we will have to unlock your account profile or make the changes for you.

So... What if one of your team member sent a support ticket to unlock it without the knowledge of the owner of the account?

It has to be from the same email account as the initiator. If a team member has access to your email as well, you'll have to specify special instructions for unlocking it (such as a password, attachment, etc).

Oh I see. Hopefully, those who wanted to have that feature activated would keep those in mind.

Good Feature! Profile Lock Not that i will need it because im the only one that uses my account and helps as far as my online money making ventures are concerned, but for those who do, such as an account for a team, company or website with multiple owners, its top notch! Profile Lock
