Write the reason you're deleting this FAQ
It's just my opinion, but I think that Google wants it's users to be able to search and find out the most relevant and authoritative websites for any given query. So when you link to authoritative websites that contain relevant information, you are providing a worthwhile service to Google search users.
What is your opinion?

Just think how trusted Wikipedia is with Google, always ranking high in Google search results, for almost any term you can imagine. Maybe a big part of that comes from the numerous annotations which link to authoritative source material. Those annotations/links say to Google, all this information is well documented and based on authoritative sources, versus just another person's opinion. Linking out to relevant authhority sites is always a good idea and definitely increases your site's trust factor with Google. Just think how trusted Wikipedia is with Google, always ranking high in Google search results, for almost any term you can imagine.
